Beautiful Victorian Room

Small quaint and first class tea room in Calabash NC. Kathy the owner prepares all the food and only uses the best ingredients. Her Tea menu choices are extensive and her Tomatoe bisque soup which is homemade is to die for. Clean and well-maintained with friendly and knowledgable staff. Go in... read more

My daughters and I love tea we try to find a tea house where ever we go be it on vacation or seasonal tea time. I found this place last year online and we started our daughter and mom tradition. The staff is so welcoming and the food is perfect for tea. There is a great gift shop and I... More

This was our 3rd visit to the tea room and it was delightful as always. One of the members of our party has food aversions due to chemo and they were wonderful about working with us to make sure all the sandwiches were something everyone would enjoy. My 2 1/2 yr old dines with us and they even had a... More

My first trip to Calabash was two years ago and I visited the tea room with my daughter. The décor is so quaint that you feel like you have stepped back in time. The entire "tea experience" was magical, from your first sip of tea to your last bite of a scrumptious dessert. The owner and her staff made us... More

Hidden away in Calabash, NC, is one of the nicest tearooms I have visited. The ultimate tea luncheon is very nice, and the selection of teas amazing. The host and owner Cathy, is so friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I frequent as much as we can, and when we have guests in town, we take them there. It is... More

Such a sweet little place, decorated in just the way a Tea shop should be. I thought the price was totally reasonable for what we received. I read other reviews which mentioned the amount of food. No, you won't get stuffed; but that's not the idea. It is meant to be a civilized bit of sweet & savory. We were... More

Over Labor Day weekend four good friends treated themselves to a girls weekend at Sunset Beach. I think we all would say that the Calabash Garden Tearoom was the highlight. I think it set the tone for our time away. It was SO very lovely, the food was delicious, the service was excellent. It was one of the gals'birthday and... More

The High Tea lunch was not worth the money. It wasn't even a full sandwich. I've been to real Ta Houses, they serve you a full sandwich and pot of tea. This is nice to pick up loose leaf teas but not for food.

This was an incredible experience that I enjoyed with my two daughters. We did the "Ultimate Tea". Loved dressing up with the boa's and hats...and that was just the start. The choice of teas available was mind boggling. The taste was even better. The presentation was so lovely and our server was attentive. Each tea sandwich was tasty and there... More

From the minute you walk up to this precious little house under the trees, to the greeting by the staff, you immediately can relax and go back in time. I have been visiting Kathy and Anna's tea room for the last 8 years or so and always try to bring friends to experience the magic. I was not disappointed today.... More
