We stumbled upon this gem on our last visit 4 years ago and were excited to visit again this trip. We had reservations for the 11:30 Ultimate Tea seating. When we arrived, our table was waiting for us. They had an adorable plastic tea cup and saucer for my daughter (17 months) so she could participate in tea as well.... More

The Calabash Garden Tea Room is absolutely delightful. The "Ultimate Tea" included a pot of tea for each of us (over 50 varieties to choose from), delicious salad, wonderful finger sandwiches, fabulous scones and decadent desserts. Every detail was perfect from the Victorian setting and lovely china, to the roses on our tray and, of course, the choice of hats... More

Our deal is, if wife will ride motorcycle with me then I'll take her anywhere. My wife loves tea houses and since this particular one was ranked #1 in the state she wanted to experince "the best." It was by far everything she hoped it would be; food was excellent as was the tea, all in an idyllic garden setting,... More

Make your reservations and come to experience tea the way it was meant. The soup was home made and the scones, teas a who he's were delicious. The afternoon was a nice way to spend it with family and friends.

This was a beautiful tea house. We enjoyed the setting, tea choices, staff and our tea luncheon. We were Jersey girls but fell in love with Calabash Garden Tea House. Looking forward to a return visit. If you are in the area do not miss this tea house

The Calabash Garden tea room is one of the best tea rooms my wife and I have ever visited. Unlike so many other so called “tea rooms”, this tea room serves traditional English tea with finger sandwiches, scones, and deserts. Everything they do is done with excellence. But, most of all, the food is delicious! Treat yourself the when you... More

My Mother lives in the area and when my sister and I come to visit we try and make it over for the ultimate tea. It is consistently very good. They have a large selection of tea and will answer any questions you have. They definatly know their business and do it well! Very friendly and professional. Don't forget to... More

This is the second time we've enjoyed our visit to the Tea Room. Both times we reserved the middle room, which holds 8 comfortably. The owner was very accommodating, taking the reservation only the evening before we decided to come. The ladies of our family thoroughly enjoyed it, from an 80 year old to a 14 year old. We all... Oh, if I had a daughter, this would be so much fun!! There's plenty of hats, boas, etc. to dress up in...if you like. Great for a girl's day out....but I had the opportunity to go with my son and my husband, and we had a ball. A LOT of labor in making the sandwiches, the tea selection is large...what... More

We had family visit us from Pennsylvania who are tea drinkers and wanted to take them to a place other than seafood restaurants. Found the Tea Room on the Internet and we were not disappointed. Price for their Ultimate Tea seems high until you account for their labor in creating each beautiful, tiny bite-size sandwich and dessert morsel. Food was... More
