Hidden away in Calabash, NC, is one of the nicest tearooms I have visited. The ultimate tea luncheon is very nice, and the selection of teas amazing. The host and owner Cathy, is so friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I frequent as much as we can, and when we have guests in town, we take them there. It is... More

Such a sweet little place, decorated in just the way a Tea shop should be. I thought the price was totally reasonable for what we received. I read other reviews which mentioned the amount of food. No, you won't get stuffed; but that's not the idea. It is meant to be a civilized bit of sweet & savory. We were... More

Over Labor Day weekend four good friends treated themselves to a girls weekend at Sunset Beach. I think we all would say that the Calabash Garden Tearoom was the highlight. I think it set the tone for our time away. It was SO very lovely, the food was delicious, the service was excellent. It was one of the gals'birthday and... More

The High Tea lunch was not worth the money. It wasn't even a full sandwich. I've been to real Ta Houses, they serve you a full sandwich and pot of tea. This is nice to pick up loose leaf teas but not for food.

This was an incredible experience that I enjoyed with my two daughters. We did the "Ultimate Tea". Loved dressing up with the boa's and hats...and that was just the start. The choice of teas available was mind boggling. The taste was even better. The presentation was so lovely and our server was attentive. Each tea sandwich was tasty and there... More

From the minute you walk up to this precious little house under the trees, to the greeting by the staff, you immediately can relax and go back in time. I have been visiting Kathy and Anna's tea room for the last 8 years or so and always try to bring friends to experience the magic. I was not disappointed today.... More

We stumbled upon this gem on our last visit 4 years ago and were excited to visit again this trip. We had reservations for the 11:30 Ultimate Tea seating. When we arrived, our table was waiting for us. They had an adorable plastic tea cup and saucer for my daughter (17 months) so she could participate in tea as well.... More

The Calabash Garden Tea Room is absolutely delightful. The "Ultimate Tea" included a pot of tea for each of us (over 50 varieties to choose from), delicious salad, wonderful finger sandwiches, fabulous scones and decadent desserts. Every detail was perfect from the Victorian setting and lovely china, to the roses on our tray and, of course, the choice of hats... More

Our deal is, if wife will ride motorcycle with me then I'll take her anywhere. My wife loves tea houses and since this particular one was ranked #1 in the state she wanted to experince "the best." It was by far everything she hoped it would be; food was excellent as was the tea, all in an idyllic garden setting,... More

Make your reservations and come to experience tea the way it was meant. The soup was home made and the scones, teas a who he's were delicious. The afternoon was a nice way to spend it with family and friends.
