Fatty's is a fun beachy shop that has Ice Cream, Hotdogs, and Kayak Tours; yep, Ice cream and Kayaks. We know its a crazy combo but being that we are located where we are, we couldn't not give Kayak Tours! The Hotdogs are crazy on purpose. We do all beef dogs with Martins Potato bread buns and load everything from hot Cheetos and Sriracha sauce, to hash browns and fried eggs on them for maximum delicious madness. We are locally owned and operated and we appreciate everyone for supporting locals! A big thank you to everyone who comes out!

Nice Place - Good Coffee

This is a really good place to have breakfast. Their coffee is very good, which is important to me. Good coffee can sometimes be hard to find. The meals are good size for the price. It's a breakfast/sandwich joint, not fine dining, but for the price, it's good.

Great food, great service, love the outdoor seating. Yesterday we had seafood bisque, salad, waffles, omelette, fried flounder. All was very good!! Today we are trying the shrimp burger special, Mac and cheese burger. Should be good!!!

Located across the street from our beachfront lodging, Fattys was a natural choice for us here at the end of the off-season. We could easily have been the first patrons at 9:45ish on a Monday morning. Service was quick, and the coffee mugs tall. My bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with homefries was delicious, and my friend's French Toast was... More

Just opened the ice cream parlor for the season, husband and wife with baby just getting things together so we were the hired helps first shake. Owners very friendly, nice little spot, shakes good, made with Hershey ice creams. Stopped in the next morning for breakfast that held us all day as we made our way to Ocracoke Island. Good... More

This place was located right across the street from our hotel so very convenient for breakfast. The food was very good and priced moderately considering area. Breakfast for four of us was usually around $40-$45. Yes, this is expensive but, they live off of tourists so it's expected. Only one morning my son and I waited a really, really long... More

This restaurant was right across the street from our hotel. The staff was really nice and the facility was clean, but our food was only so-so. A nice affordable place to eat during off season.

Not many places open during the winter. So ate here 3 times. Not too much of a selection and sure not much for those with food intolerances (wheat, eggs). Wished they would even have oatmeal for breakfast. Wonderful service though and people loved the coffee. They have a comfort food they serve like meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Fatty's? Really? Really! Don't be put off by the name, it's all in good fun and you'll love the variety of Hershey's ice cream they offer! Pick up their fun tee-shirt for the ice cream "nut" on your Christmas list, and stick your head through the wooden seagull cut-out for a memorable photo! Fatty's is just plain fun!
