Nice place for the beach

Let's face it, not a lot of "fine dining" on the island but we liked this place. Comfortable bar area and good food. Service was very friendly. We chose to dine at the bar, the dining area had mainly families. Nice place!

Thought we should try someplace different as the selection of good restaurants here are few. Checked out their website and the prices looked reasonable and the reviews were good. We had reservations and ended up being seated in the bar area, not a big deal. To our amazement, the prices on the menu were significantly higher than the prices on... More

We ate at Rusty's on a Friday night, while the restaurant was crowded the service was great. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was perfectly cooked, by far the best meal I had on the island. My partner ordered the red drum and it was equally well prepared. As an appetizer we had the coconut fish bits, the... More

The 2 of us arrived around 5:30 for dinner and were quickly seated. The waitress promptly took our drink order and returned to explain the specials for the evening. My wife had the Red Drum special and I ordered Fried Shrimp. Both were prepared well and served within 15 minutes of our arrival. The service was excellent by our attentive... More

We love eating at Rusty's each time we are in the area. Our favorite is the Pamlico Platter. The scallops are enormous and bursting with fresh ocean flavor, the crab cakes are large and sweet, the shrimp are robust, and the red drum is melt in your mouth. The batter on all is light and crispy. At one pound of... More

Seafood was good. We only ate here one time, but the parking lot is always full at dinner time. Service was very good.

Have eaten here in the past and it's worth coming back. Over the last few days have eaten here twice. Had the beef golash once and then the shrimp jambalaya. The food is great and the drinks and service are very good. A bit pricey but most places at the beach are but this is worth it.

We dined here due to accomodating those who require gluten free options. We found the prices to be quite high for the quality of food delivered. Overall, it was a very disappointing dining experience. The flounder was dry and mostly unappetizing. The scallops were weak at best. Not recommened.

Thought the food was a bit overpriced for the food it served. Pasta seemed a bit overcooked.....small pieced of fish in entree....Hush puppies however were great!!

Arrived shortly after opening for dinner, and during this time of year and on a Sunday evening, not a busy place, so we had our meal in no time. Great tasting seafood.
