terrible food, terrible service, the entire kitchen crew is made up of illegal aliens who know absolutely nothing about real Italian food. I hate Olive Garden so if you want real Italian food go to da Vinci's table, Pregos or Marias Café.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant. The breadsticks are so good and goes well with all the fresh seafood dishes. Delicious and huge portions, there's always plenty of leftovers.

Stopped into Sal's for dinner while in Burlington on business. We were seated after a brief wait. The service was very good. Lots of choices on the menu and the food was quite good - prices are reasonable. Give it a try.

Its insulting to Italian food, the menu says one thing and the dish comes out another! I see that the selection of Italian food is vast in Burlington but none of them are authentic at all! Speaking as a native. I ordered pollo alla cacciatora and it was acidic and not enough tomato sauce it just.. tasted nothing like it... More

Sal's is great any night of the week, and they always have specials for diners on a budget. Wednesday is half-priced wine night (by the bottle or glass) and the Sunday Brunch is amazing! Reminiscent of being on a cruise, as they have entirely too many delicious temptations, including a Belgian Waffle station, Stir Fry station, Omlette station, Pizza station,... More

Not so much to look at inside or out, but good food and good service at a reasonable price keeps this place busy. The have specials on weekdays that are very good. I had the lasagna and it was served hot with plenty of good cheese, meat and a good sauce. The bread is nice and was also served hot.... More

First I have to say our server Jalen was wonderful and we had a great time with him. The bread was also great as was the chocolate cake we had for dessert. I wish I could say the meal was that good. We've been there before when the food was good but not this time. The italian dressing they put... More

Introduced to Sal's a few years ago by my hubby, who used to live in Burlington. From what I understand, this local, family-owned Italian restaurant has been a staple in the community for years. Without a doubt, hands-down, one of the top two best lasagnas I have ever tasted! It is a party in the mouth! It is a very... More

Just had the best Sunday brunch in Burlington, NC! Individually prepared omelets, freshly made waffles, all the Italian fare you could want, plus carved prime rib, lamb or ham. Desserts were plentiful as well. We will definitely be back. One note they do not open until 11:00.
