We met a family member here for dinner. Very nice atmosphere. Quiet restaurant. Food was good. Service was very good. This is a small local restaurant which seems to be popular with people we know from the area. Convenient location not too far from the Hampton on I40.

Maria's Cafe has among the best Italian food I've ever had. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and quiet. Wine selection is good. Everything on the menus is fresh ingredients and great food. The marina sauce is home-made and wonderful. It's in a small strip center, off the beaten path so kinda hard to find but well worth it. Take advantage... More

We go there a couple times per month. I don't see how you can beat the prices. It's our favorite Italian food in the area but we don't get too far from the basic Italian stuff and don't order steaks for sure. The service is fast and never a problem. I love their Lasagna which comes to the table still... More

This restaurant is a "staple" for us when eating out. The food is always good as well as the service. We have a favorite wine they carry and the 2 for $20 Friday is always good.

Come here every time we drop off our son at Elon. We have never had a bad meal and always enjoy it. Service is great. Definitely recommend

I don't know how this restaurant got all of the great reviews that it did. The calamari was tasteless and somewhat raw. The bread was NOT Italian and the so-called olive oil was like water and also tasteless. Finally, the veal entree - there are no words to describe how awful it was. I had the veal marsala with watered... More

I visited Maria's recently on a Saturday evening. We were seated right away, and our server diligently checked on us and always had a smile on her face. The food did not take very long, and everyone in our party enjoyed our entree's (pasta with chicken, for most everyone). Even one picky eater (a 5-year-old) ate all of his spaghetti.... More

Eggplant rollatini was good. However, one person in our party commented that Chef Boyardee would have been better than his spaghetti. Others agreed. Go and try it, nice atmosphere, great waitstaff. But, don't get the spaghetti. It was terrible. Extremely bland marinara. Prob. won't go back.
