This is close to a five-star restaurant. The selection is from country to artisanal. Food is prepared perfectly, the service is great, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you are on a special diet, they will go out of their way to make something special for you. Unfortunately it is only open during the summer (end of May... More

Relia's Garden is a part of the NOC (Nantahala Outdoor Center) and touts a garden of herbs and flowers outside of it's restaurant. You can dine inside or outside in a comfortable cabin atmosphere. Friendly staff, good food and drinks, with a menu that changes over the years. Done eating? Walk to the Nantahala River and watch the kayakers or... More

Enjoy watching kayakers come down the Nantahala River, buy needed gear at the outpost , rent your own rubber kayak and go down the river for a change of pace.

We ate at Relia's two nights in a row and were very impressed. We arrived the first night and sat at a table on the deck that overlooked the gardens and mountains. Beautiful!! Our server greeted us with a cold pitcher of water with fresh mint and a home made loaf of bread. We had mushroom fritters as an appetizer,... More

My husband and I went here for our 12th anniversary. This is the worst dining experience we have ever had and we go a lot of places. The food was not even edible. The corn cake was burnt and the shrimp and grits were swimming in some nasty sauce I can't even describe. We took one bite of each and... More

The food is fresh and good. The flowers on the table are picked just before dinner time from the garden in front of the restaurant. The herbs in the food also come from the gardens in front of the restaurant. The carrot ginger salad dressing was recommended to me and I need to pass the recommendation along to anyone who... More

Relia's is on the campus of the Nantahala Outdoor Center and I don't think you'll find a better restaurant for fine dining in the area. The prices were reasonable, the service outstanding, and the food was simply fantastic. I greatly enjoyed the crab stuffed grilled salmon. Two thumbs up!

This restaurant is located at the Nantahala Outdoor Center about 10 miles west of Bryson City but is worth the drive for the location alone. It is only open for Supper, but has a great menu with a variety of choices. I have never had anything I didn't like here, including their vegetarion options (which are many) although I am... More
