Fun retro malt shop

It's worth coming in here just for the memorabilia. It's a pretty great collection of old soda fountain syrup jugs, etc. There aren't that many places left that serve real malts made with malt powder. I got a kick out of seeing one made on an old-school pistachio Hamilton Beach agitator with... read more

Just a little dumpy ice cream shop. Nothing special. Cash only. Not much of a selection, but the only one open the day we stopped.

The ice cream is standard-issue Mayfield (which is good). There are a variety of add-ons and cones. The environment is similar to an old soda shop. We were not asked if we wanted add-ons or other menu items. We were here very close to closing.

Prices are high and they really don't have that many flavors to choose from. It's a cute old time looking soda fountain shop.

Thank you for your honest review but our prices range from 2.35 to 5;35 depending on what you order. Also with our custom blended flavors there is unlimited of flavors to choose from, just not whats in the dipping box. Best Regards. More

A perfect place to refresh after the train ride, or any time. Take time to look at the Coca Cola bike that is on display. Sit outside and make some new friends!

There was a good variety of ice cream, shakes and malts. We stopped by twice because it was so good. Cute place to visit and a nice bench to sit outside and enjoy the ice cream.

We dropped in following dinner at Iron Skillet. Boys got waffle cones and my wife and I shared an ice cream sundae. Not the best we have had, but not the worst we have had. We were not effected by the requirement, but the shop only takes cash. Plan accordingly. We will probably try another shop if/when we return to... More

Great ice cream shop. It feels like home the minute you walk through the door. My kids thought it was awesome. The gentleman serving us was outstanding he had a great personality and the ice cream was superb. This place is a must if you just want to sit and relax for a short time and possibly reminisce for some... More

Straight cash he says after he scoops your ice cream and you hand him your cc. I would suggest the store owner to add a sign that states CASH ONLY on the front door. Bad!!!

We are always fighting to keep the cost down specifically in a really small town like ours and cash is one of the areas that we can cut down on cost to our customers.. 15 years in business we have never accepted credit cards or debit cards. All we ask of our customers is to bring cash back if you... More
