This place is a delight. The employees are very friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. We have been both nights we have been here and i am sure we will visit the third also. My boys love the ice cream!

We had just arrived in town after a 12 hour drive, had some dinner in town, and then decided to walk around Bryson City to stretch our legs. We happened upon Soda Pops and went inside for some ice cream. What a blast from the past! The shop was very clean and nicely decorated in vintage memorabilia. The owner served... More

We got to town late and were just walking the charming downtown area and found this shop. The young people serving us were so fun and respectful....The Coke/Root Beer floats we ordered took us back in time to our childhoods....By all means, stop in here!!

It's a great old-fashioned ice cream shop that takes you on a little trip back in time. Very friendly and fast service, reasonable prices, and the ice cream and milkshakes were excellent. It's the perfect place to stop for a cold snack or dessert.

My daughter loved the ice cream soda's and went back every night of our three day stay. The young girl who was working was very kind and helpful.

The shop was fun to go in with all the nostalgic items. We just had ice cream which was just a name brand. It was ok. Probably would have been better if we had gotten a nice cream soda but we had just eaten dinner.

Duh. It was a nice enough ice cream shop and it appears that they have been here for many years. I hope they continue to draw business because a newer trend, the do-it-yourself yogurt shop has opened right down the street. However, this place still has the old fashioned milk shake makers and tin deco hanging on the walls. My... More

Thank you for letting Soda Pop's be a part of your trip and HAPPY my ice cream was cold enough. lol Don't understand the "Soggy Waffle Cones" tho? Also have to add that 2 single scoops of ice cream in cups/cake cones comes to $5.06 including tax not the $10.00 bucks like you said. Maybe you got SP's mixed up... More

We were excited to try out the ice cream in the Soda Pops store because of its decor. I was a little bummed the root beer floats were made with Barq's from the soda fountain, so I opted for a chocolate malt. They forgot the malt. :-( The ice cream itself is average, the young employees were not overtly polite.... More

I don't understand whats wrong with a Root beer float made with Bargs Fountain. One of out staple items are our Root Beer floats. Thank you... More
