We went here on a Sunday night and it was pretty deserted. Started with some beers, and wine, and that went just fine (the selection was OK, but not great). Menu was limited, with a few items not available (even though it was in August at the height of the tourist season). I ordered a burger, but was informed that... More

Stopped in to have lunch with my two sons and were the first ones there. After getting menus which had at least a third of the items blacked out, were told that they didn't have a few things that were supposed to be on the menu...okay. We ordered burgers and when they came my youngest , who's 8, said they... More

Stopped here to watch the USA play in the World Cup. I sat at the bar for a good 10 minutes waiting to order a beer while two bartenders argued about their work load. Asked to see a menu and was informed that they were out of wings, bacon, and two of their taps were empty. Asked if they would... More

After a harrowing six hour drive to Bryson City, we stopped into Tuckasegee Tavern to catch some much needed time away from the car. What we did not expect was the great selection of beers and some nice bar food. A great place to unwind from the drive-in and really set the mood for some great mountain views.

Food was not bad, but not that great either. Pretty average. Probably would not eat there again. Friend had the Philly and she said it tasted burnt and very dry. Service was slow but waiter was having to wait on too many people.

Read reviews on web before we left for our trip, so made it a point to pay a visit. In Bryson City for our 25th anniversary doing the train ride. Stopped in the tavern Friday night, not impressed bar tender was also the waitress she was the ony one working her butt off. Usually bar tenders will chat with ya-... More

Very good food that you wouldn't really expect from a Bar. Very cool staff, friendly and willing to go above and beyond! Cool porch to eat, drink and take in the scenery. We came during the day and had a great experience and was told that on Friday nights they had a legit FORMER Elvis impersonator run the karaoke on... More

Went in on Friday night before the concert at the train depot. Sat at the bar. Top shelf service from the pleasant bartender. We had hot wings and a chicken sandwich. Both very good. The beer is cold and the place has the bar/pool room atmosphere down pat.

Casual atmosphere with great food! If you want a delicious, fresh burger, this is the place to be! Sit at tables, or at the bar, and enjoy!

It is a bar. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, fries, and PBR. All the bartenders were very cool. Plenty of locals drift in and out like tubers through deep creek. Not really a joint for little kids cause some of Bryson City's white trash like to congregate here. Also idiots trying to get u to come to their paddle... More
