My daughter and I ate dinner here. The stuffed mushroom caps were yummy. She had the fresh tuna blackened and it was good. I had the fried catfish and shrimp. It had a nice flavor but I wasn't fond of the beading. The salads were very fresh. They add a few cold green beans to the salad and interestingly enough... More

Neat restaurant on the outskirts of town. They have a diverse menu with many options. I chose a the Cajun burger which was solid but nothing to write home about. My girlfriend had a shrimp dish that was very tasty and they gave her the option of ordering the lunch portion which was plenty. Would gladly eat here again.

They have an extensive menu that at times can be a bit much, but the food is always good. One thing I like is there are always vegetables on the menu that come with dinner. The salad is great. I have never had a bad meal here. The trout is the best.

We were looking for a good burger and found Jimmy Macs. The bison burger was delicious, the sweet potato fries perfect. It's definitely a very casual local flavor kinda place. The owner's son came over to talk to us and describe the different types of meat they use for burgers. All the food is cooked to order. Don't expect to... More

Po- boy sandwich was spot on. Service decent but it was busy and the place is small and cramped. Well be back.

We heard all about this place and were anxious to try it. The burgers were mediocre at best. We tried the Swiss and mushroom burger, the Cajun burger and a plain burger. All were not seasoned very well at all were just ok. My husband tried the clam chowder and that was a disappointment as well. It wasn't that anything... More

At some point in time this Tampa, Florida restaurant relocated to Bryson City, NC. Not much has changed. They even packed the plagues and framed newspaper articles with them from Florida. And, they brought along those amazing burgers and the trimmings. Jimmy Mac's is a burger joint. Between the decor and the really pleasant wait staff Jimmy Mac's pull off... More

Since the first time we discovered Jimmy Mac's in Bryson City, my husband and I have made this a "Special Treat" to ourselves! Thank goodness Jimmy Mac did not stay retired once he came to the Mountain Top, as was his intention. He brought with him his know-how for running a Top Notch restaurant and it shows in every meal... The steaks are very good here, the service was outstanding, even on a holiday weekend. Had to wait a while on a four top table, but well worth it.We had the blackened chicken with blue, Strip steak, Burgers for the kids. Recommend, worth the stop.

Always a great place to stop in for great food! A stop I always make when in town. A menu that contains a little bit of everything! I suggest the shrimp!
