At some point in time this Tampa, Florida restaurant relocated to Bryson City, NC. Not much has changed. They even packed the plagues and framed newspaper articles with them from Florida. And, they brought along those amazing burgers and the trimmings. Jimmy Mac's is a burger joint. Between the decor and the really pleasant wait staff Jimmy Mac's pull off... More

Since the first time we discovered Jimmy Mac's in Bryson City, my husband and I have made this a "Special Treat" to ourselves! Thank goodness Jimmy Mac did not stay retired once he came to the Mountain Top, as was his intention. He brought with him his know-how for running a Top Notch restaurant and it shows in every meal... The steaks are very good here, the service was outstanding, even on a holiday weekend. Had to wait a while on a four top table, but well worth it.We had the blackened chicken with blue, Strip steak, Burgers for the kids. Recommend, worth the stop.

Always a great place to stop in for great food! A stop I always make when in town. A menu that contains a little bit of everything! I suggest the shrimp!

My husband and I were in Bryson City over the 4th of July Weekend. We ate here on Saturday night around 6 pm The service was horrible, the waitresses looked like hookers. Husbands steak was bland and my grouper was rubbery and bland tasting. We were waiting for our change when the hostess came over and said "you guys leaving."... More

We ate dinner on July 4. Not surprisingly, they were very busy but the service was excellent and although we had to wait 30 minutes to get seated (we didn't mind; it was a holiday after all) they served us cheerfully and quickly. I had blackened chicken breast with bleu cheese; she had chicken parmigiana. They were excellent. Highly recommended.

We had a party of six and waited about 10 minutes to sit on a Wednesday at 6:00pm. The menu was expansive enough to offer a wide variety of meals at all different price points. The burgers were very good and the hot wings were different but a nice change from the norm. Serive was above average and the decor... More

Brought a group of 32. Thought it would overwhelm the staff but they handled it perfectly. Got everyone seated within a reasonable time. Everyone's food was tasty and nice selections. Thanks jimmy for a great night

My friends and I stopped at Jimmy Mac's last week after a long day of riding motorcycles through the Smoky Mountains. We asked for suggestions at a local business we stopped at first. When we arrived, there were quite a few people already there eating, but the waitress got us seats in a couple of minutes. We ordered wine because... More
