Great BBQ

I love bbq, especially in little towns. The pulled pork, and beef were both really good. Although, I'm always disappointed when a BBQ place doesnt serve brisket. The corn nuggets were good, but there was a ton of butter or grease sitting in the bottom of the little tray they were served in, so I... read more

If you can catch them open good luck! The BBQ is just average. The french fries are really good, the steak fry kind. They are the only BBQ restaurant in town so when you get the craving for it and drive all the way to town to get disappointed that they are closed its upsetting! I do enjoy the brisket... More

We always make it a point to visit this place to get a pulled pork sandwich and fries. They make everything so good!

A warm welcome and tasty food that we thought was good value. Plenty to choose from and we ordered a variety between us. All the dishes were cooked well and portion sizes were just right. We weren't blown away but equally we left having enjoyed the food and would go back if we were passing for sure.

We were looking for lunch after being up in the Mountains. The place was clean, the service was quick and helpful. We had pulled pork sandwhiches with fries and slaw for under $7.00. They had plenty of different sauces to try and all had nice flavor and were different from each other. The meat had good flavor without the sauce... More

My husband was hungry for barbecue, and since we had seen this restaurant on our way into town a few days before, we decided to give it a try. We both ordered the Beef BBQ basket and an order of hush puppies. What a delicious delight! We've tried beef brisket sandwiches at several BBQ restaurants throughout the South, but this... More

The bar-b-que was was really tasty. I ordered the small bar-b-que sandwich and is was very filling......they had several sauces to pick from. The fries and slaw were good. The kiddos (ages 8 and 4) really enjoyed the corn dogs. The people working there were very cordial and very kind to us. They helped with the extra things that we... More

We are in the area often, and the Bar-B-Que Wagon is one of our regular stops. I almost always get the pork sandwich - the pork is chopped fine and it had a good smoky flavor, which complements a nice assortment of sauces. I like to mix the "Hot & Spicy" with the "Honey" barbecue. The slaw is served on... More

Found this place by accident. BBQ Chicken was tasty but the BBQ was like mush , ground really fine and had a weird taste I could not identify. The slaw had onion powder in it and was also weird tasting. Pigs have more room in a pen than you do in the dining area. Nice try but we will pass... More

The BBQ here wsnt bad, and there were quite a few options for sauce, sides, etc. The person who took our order wasn't friendly and seemed annoyed that we didn't know what we wanted when we walked in the door. It was pretty small inside but we enjoyed sitting outside by the river with our dog.
