Located in a beautifully restored historic building...down a quiet alley in the heart of Downtown Brevard, The Square Root Restaurant is as well known for its architectural and artistic decor as it is for its fabulous food. Whether you're hoping to enjoy the ambiance of our indoor dining room, our locally crafted wood bar top, or the fresh breezes of our covered outdoor patio - there is room for everyone. Our atmosphere is inviting for romantic evenings, cocktails with friends, and family gatherings. We pride ourselves on serving locally roasted coffee from The Brown Bean, and we offer several local brews on tap and by the bottle. Menu choices include options to please the young and the old, the adventurous and the picky eaters, and anyone who enjoys delicious fresh food at reasonable prices. We also offer a full bar with extensive wine and cocktail choices.

The Square Root is Exponentially Good

Stopped in on a road trip - great setting, warm staff (Jordan was great) and killer food. My girlfriend and I started with the zucchini strips - crispy, not greasy and served piping hot. She had the chinese chicken salad; I had the eggplant club sandwich with sweet potato chips. Everything was... read more

Square Root is regularly rated the best in Brevard. Well deserved. Menu changes frequently and shows a lot of originality. A bit on the noisy side

One of our favorite places in Brevard! Reservations are recommended since it gets crowded, especially on weekends. Their food is inventive and quality is good.

We had dinner at the Square Root Restaurant on a quiet Sunday night. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. My wife and I both had the planked salmon. It came with jasmine rice and succotash. It was all excellent! I had key lime pie for dessert and it was a fitting conclusion to a delightful meal. The restaurant had... More

While visiting Brevard, this is a wonderful downtown spot. It's got something for everyone. I highly recommend the burgers, Ruben and London Broil sandwich. The Fried Green Tomatoes were some of the best I've ever had, and I live in the south! Beer, wine and awesome deserts. With family in Brevard, this will be one of my regular stops!

We ate at the bar between lunch and dinner, and the menu was limited. No real fault there, but don't get your heart set on anything until you know. Also, the hours posted are not accurate, so they may or may not be open (Monday and/or Tuesday). The food was good, but the bar service was inattentive, with the server... More

I had dinner tonight with my husband and daughter and we really enjoyed our meals. My daughter had the black bean burger (her favorite here) while I loved the eggplant parmesan!
