While visiting Brevard, this is a wonderful downtown spot. It's got something for everyone. I highly recommend the burgers, Ruben and London Broil sandwich. The Fried Green Tomatoes were some of the best I've ever had, and I live in the south! Beer, wine and awesome deserts. With family in Brevard, this will be one of my regular stops!

We ate at the bar between lunch and dinner, and the menu was limited. No real fault there, but don't get your heart set on anything until you know. Also, the hours posted are not accurate, so they may or may not be open (Monday and/or Tuesday). The food was good, but the bar service was inattentive, with the server... More

I had dinner tonight with my husband and daughter and we really enjoyed our meals. My daughter had the black bean burger (her favorite here) while I loved the eggplant parmesan!

While visiting family in Brevard, we had dinner at Square Root. My husband had heard good reviews on this eatery and that opinion was shared by my brother in law who has recently moved to the area. We made reservations for 6:30 and we were seated promptly. The waitress was attentive and helpful as we chose our entrees. My husband... More

The cedar plank salmon was exquisite with a marvelous blend of delicate salmon and maple flavors. My son's espresso-rubbed filet was outstanding as was my wife's seafood pasta. Every dish we tried was superb. The service is OK but if you keep your focus on the food, you will have a wonderful experience.

We ate here for lunch and dinner during our stay in Brevard. Both were wonderful, but I have to tell you the zucchini fries are to die for! There burgers are also great. Our service at dinner was a bit slow this time but that was during their holiday festival night.

This alley street hideaway is a great choice for lunchin that the menu is varied and the food is very good. The portions a generous so expect to want a carry out box. This is not a large restaurant/bar so waiting for a table is quite common. The biggest drawback is finding a parking spot in the narrow alley.

When we lived in Brevard this was one of our favorite places to eat. Now when we visit our friends there we make it a point to stop at "The Root" for cocktails and dinner. A little hard to find but well worth the effort.

We ate here several times during our vacation in Brevard. The service is friendly, fast, and efficient. The food is wonderful. Beautiful presentation, My wife and I both enjoyed the hanger steak. The restaurant is in an old building in an alley. (There is a great chocolate shop across the alley).

Every time I have friends or family cone for a visit, I make sure we eat here. The food is great. The atmosphere is nice in either the bar, the restaurant or the patio.
