quick bite

stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. Was seated and served quickly. Ordered the fish tacos. Very good except for too much sour cream for me. Next time I'll order on the side. Had the sweet potatoes chips. They were okay. Missing somethng in taste and could have been crispier and hotter. Tasted... read more

We tried this place and were very pleased. Great food, great staff. Have returned to eat here 4 times in the last week and half. We love the place.

Our family had brunch here and weren't disappointed. Great food in a unique building, tucked back in an alley off of the main drag. And there's a chocolate store across the alley (not that we had room after our meal, but maybe some for later!). We made reservations, which is recommended but probably wasn't needed when we went.

We went here on a Wednesday and found out that's the day that all bottles of wines are 1/2 price. Nice surprise. The restaurant is located in a alley off Main and we had the patio. Calamari and Beef lollipops for apps and then steakhouse burger and the black bean burger which was the best veggie burger we have had.... More

Fried green tomatoes great. Poached pear salad wonderful. Chicken curry was spicy, but delicious. Plank salmon was overcooked and dry. Service very friendly and timely.

After a beautiful and strenuous hike, we were too pooped to cook over the campfire, so we headed to Brevard to see if we could find a good meal. We chose Square Root based on a recommendation from our hosts at Ash Grove Cabins and Camping and were not disappointed. This cozy little restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious... More

My husband and I went to the Square Root because we had heard good things and because we found the menu impressive and filled with many unique and appetizing choices. This restaurant was very hard to find, as it's hidden in an alley and it does not provide signage visible from the street to help you find it if you've... More

When we first arrived, we had the restaurant to ourselves. Very nice. Server helped with suggestions of the more popular menu choices. Dinner was very good, with a good presentation as well. After an hour the restaurant was 'full'. All but three tables occupied. Three tables all setup for reservations. People without reservations could sit in bar area and eat... More

Very small, could do so much better if it was larger. Reservations a must... sitting there a lot of people turned away for no seats. Food is excellent one of the best spots in Brevard. Brunch is good on Sundays but cant drink until after 12.

Stopped in on a road trip - great setting, warm staff (Jordan was great) and killer food. My girlfriend and I started with the zucchini strips - crispy, not greasy and served piping hot. She had the chinese chicken salad; I had the eggplant club sandwich with sweet potato chips. Everything was incredible. We will absolutely return on our next... More
