We just celebrated our wedding with the reception being held in the upper room of the Hobnob. What a top-notch experience we had!! The service was impeccable and detailed but not fussy or stiff. The food was absolutely enchanting. The warm service, delightful exciting and unpretentious menu was superb. We were so love in with the carrot ginger soup and... More

We started our afternoon in Brevard, North Carolina at the Hob Nob restaurant, and we're glad we did. We had the crabcake sandwich with salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was excellent. Meaty crab cakes! Really quaint atmosphere; a beautiful old home. You won't go wrong here.

We just happened on this charming little restaurant while leaf peeping. We sat on the patio of this old family home with Andy, our dog and had a lovely brunch. I had the fresh catfish and my husband had grilled marinated chicken on chopped romaine. Both were good. Champagne added to the relaxing mood.

Hob Nob has an intimate, but informal atmosphere that is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is quite varied, and has a great selection of locally sourced dishes like fresh mountain trout. There is a full bar, with a good selection of local beers as well. Service was friendly and very attentive, without being obtrusive. I had the pan seared... More

We had company from Fl. & went here for lunch. Nice & warm, so we ate outside on the porch. We had very good service, and all enjoyed the food. Had the Baked Homemade (it really is) Pimento Cheese Appetizer. The guys had the Trout special & joined the clean plate club. I had the Chicken Breast without the bun... More

Made our third visit for lunch here, just last week while out admiring the Fall color. As expected, had a great meal. We were able to sit outside on the patio, thanks to wonderful weather. My wife Kay chose not to have the seared scallops this time (she loves them) and chose the mussels instead; loved them too! Good thing... More

A large group showed up to Hob Nob about an hour and fifteen minutes before they closed. We were able to get seated right away. I was impressed with the service. Within minutes of being seated, we had bread, water, drink and appetizer orders were placed. The food was excellent. The chimichurri with the bread was great. The trout special... More

This was a very charming place right on Main Street. The lady in A Better Bead (fantastic bead store, by the way) told us of 2 good restaurants right next door to her, so we went with Hob Nob. I loved the charm of the place - hardwood floors, beautiful furniture, and really a nice place to have a quiet... More

We had previously stopped earlier this summer and looked at this restaurant and the Italian restaurant next door to it. We were impressed with the overall appearance - converted older houses, nice outside seating, and both busy for lunch. All good signs we thought. Asked at a local golf course on two separate occasions what they recommended for local dining... More

Had dinner for two here one evening and the experience was excellent as seen with quality ingredients & well executed presentation. The service was quite good and the setting very visually attractive. The only reason I am holding back on giving it a "5" was the music being played.....70's rock?? The environment is quaint and romantic and begs to have... More
