Attractive converted house-restaurant. Service was reasonably good. Prices seemed high for small and less than artfully presented plates. If my group returns to Brevard, we'll head straight to the competition over at Square Root.

This is a house made into a restaurant. Very nice setting. Menu offered a lot of gluten free selections which was awesome. I had the jambalaya and it was filling. When they brought my husband bread they were nice enough to give me some cucumbers. So I had something to nibble on.

Hob Nob used to be our favorite place to go in Brevard for lunch. It has been going down hill over the last year but we decided to give it another try yesterday. We will not be going back. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because my soup was very good and my husband's fish was good... More

Enjoyed dinner here with old friends who are locals and recommended. Staff was very attentive. Excellent salmon. Nice wine list. Charming older home. Will definitely dine here again.

A local favorite. Great outdoor seating and area for larger parties upstairs. Food is delicious. Favorites include their oysters and tomato soup. You won't be disappointed.

Four of us had lunch and sad to say was 'low average'. Sandwich was more bread than anything - but the beer was excellent.

I have been to the Hob Nob numerous times spread over eight years. I have never had a mediocre meal there. The standard is excellent. The atmosphere is like eating in your aunt's dining room. Service varies on crowded nights, and the upstairs area is less hospitable. If the bar were larger, I'd make Hob Nob my pub.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Hobnob on a Sunday night. We arrived without reservations, and they were full. However, the hostess informed us that she'd be able to seat us relatively quickly and invited us to have a drink at their small but very cute bar. Shortly after receiving our drinks, we were led to a... More

While visiting the area for some hiking we visited this place for dinner. When entering the restaurant the woman at the door looked at us like she had no clue as to why we walked in. Her welcome was "can I help you", like we were lost or something. She took us upstairs without asking if that was okay and... More

If you are ever in Brevard, North Carolina and decide to dine at the Hobnob, don't. Run, next door would be good. Our dining experience at the Hobnob was, to say the least, odd from the very beginning. From the greeting at the door, hostess was sitting at the bar and then came up to us like she didn't know...
