I had high expectations, so maybe I'm being overly critical. I've had breakfast there twice. Each time the food was good, but not great. The place is not very big and can be very crowded as it's across the street from the college. Not a service spot - you order at the counter and go up to collect your food,... More

We were looking for something a bit special for breakfast and were limited with options. Hoping for a diamond in the rough, we tried this cafe. It had some local flavor but the food was average and the coffees just Ok. I tried their house - special egg white omelette with hash browns. My wife went for a spinach mushroom... More

It was busy when we get there. (About 11:30am.), and we stood in line to order at the counter. I felt immediately really good about the place. There was a cheerful bustle and all of the customers and staff had smiles on their faces. In line, we weren't bored, as there were notices of events, displays of local art and... More

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to a kayaking trip. This is not a full service restaurant, you stand in line and place your order. When they call your number you go back and pick it up. Plastic utensils and paper plates and cups. The meal was okay, but not great. My eggs were overlooked... More

Our Friday motorcycle group had a great ride up the mountain so we could enjoy a very good breakfast at The Sunrise Cafe. The service was great and the food came quickly, hot and ready to eat. Our ten riders all enjoyed the food and atmosphere as we ate our late morning breakfast. The food is very good, not fancy,... More

Coffee was very good. It's walkup service that was amazingly quick for the number of people ordering. I had a pretty-good bagel with eggs and cheese but not the tomato I asked for. Not complaining though, it was quick and tasty.

My Family and I went to the Sunrise Café every morning on our vacation for breakfast except for Sunday-they are closed. They have the best lox and bagel. My Husband loves their Pisqah Sunrise. They also have excellent baked goods. Family friendly and budget friendly.

My wife and I tried to eat breakfast there today, after 3 or 4 bites we just left and went to waffle house. My omlet was overcooked and wife's grits, eggs and ham had no flavor

I always want this place to be a bit more creative than it is. The food is good, but not very imaginative. The vibe is friendly and local. I wish they didn't use disposable plates!! I'd love to see a stronger emphasis on healthy, interesting, quality ingredients!
