After a long day of hiking, my husband and I were looking for a local place to eat that was not your typical franchise fare. Thankfully Mayberry's is open a little later than the other eating establishments in downtown Brevard! The food was great, and the atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. Hub and I shared a piece of... More

We stopped here because it had interesting sandwiches and sides. Some good choices but they were only ok. I had a baked bean medley that tasted good. My wife selected the baked potato salad, but was disappointed with the taste when she realized they made it like a baked potato - i.e. with sour cream. A lot of other choices... More

Family was headed to Pisgah National Forest and stopped in downtown Brevard to find lunch. The menu looked great. We don't like chains or standard food so this was a good choice. Love the gourmet sandwich choices and loved what we all got. Food was fresh, freshly made but served fast. Had soup and sandwiches and couldn't pass up the... More

This is one of the rare restaurants that I looked forward to writing a review on that was very positive. The food was great on all accounts. My Cuban sandwich was perfect and as good as any I've had anywhere, The pork was just outstanding. My wife loved her chicken wrap with raspberry something or other. What can you say... More

We eat here at least once a week. A nice variety of sandwiches and plates, all freshly prepared. The staff are nice and personable, and it wont break your wallet. Lots of local history in pictures on the walks as well as some Andy Griffith Show memorabilia too. Stop by and check them out - you won't be sorry!

Homemade sandwiches, salads and dinners -- I wanted to eat there every meal. Some day I'll go back just for the meatloaf. It's the ambiance of a small town diner, topped off with incredibly friendly people and tasty dishes. What more could you want? Oh, yes, the prices are moderate, too. Don't expect fine china and silver -- you'll need... More

Went there for lunch after hiking Dupont State Forest. Had read good reviews here and was looking forward to something memorable. The food was tasty -- though not exceptionally so -- but the presentation of the sandwiches was terrible. They looked like they'd just been dropped on the plates with a handful of ripple chips. The serve-yourself soda machine was... More

Mayberry's has what we all want--home cooked food, home made ice cream, delicious soups & sandwiches. No frills, just good food.

The food is tasty and my glass of wine was good. Atmosphere is diner like. Seems more like a lunch place than a dinner place. But I've not eaten dinner there. Only lunch :-) Very nice staff & my tuna sandwich and gazpacho really hit the spot. We were in and out quickly. Clean restrooms too :-)

We had dinner at Mayberry's last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Mayberry's Peanut butter sandwich was wonderful! Our group also had the Cuban sandwich and the Cheesesteak both were also wonderful. The roast beef on the cheesesteak sandwich was very tender and flavorful. The turkey and rice soup was awesome!! Wonderful flavor and full of chunks of turkey.
