nice place to eat outside

Went here for an early lunch while visitng Boone,. They do farm to table, vegan, vegetarian, etc and the food was great. I'm a great hot tea drinker and our server was great about keeping me in hot water! Trucker's breakfast was great, pleanty of it! The aple juice, fresh and unflitered was... read more

This is my favorite place to eat breakfast in Boone. I recommend the Trucker's Breakfast. The gravy is delicious! They also have very yummy coffee. Aside from the good food it is also just a really nice atmosphere. I would say that you want to get there early, especially if you are planning on brunch as the line can become... More

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful pancakes. Great omelets. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options. Really good choice.

All the food at Melanie's is really good. Unless you're really hungry expect to have leftovers or share a plate. The wait staff was very attentive, and by going early we had plenty of time to visit.

I love Melanie's. They have great food and I love that they endeavor to be responsible in what they serve to their customers. The breakfast is great, I highly recommend it. Make sure you either get there early or you don't have much to do for the day, because the wait can sometimes get daunting. There isn't much seating, but... More

We had a party of nine people for lunch. We are so glad we found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The ones that ordered burgers all said it was the best burger they ever ate. Another had an omelette that was perfect. I had a chicken salad and the berry dressing was to die for. If you are in downtown Boone... More

We had breakfast here on the street patio. I liked that they had healthier options on the menu even though I didn't choose any. I like to see the opportunity to have these options so many people are looking for. The omelet and the French toast that we ordered were okay, but nothing special. It needs to be a bit... More

Loved sitting outside in the Boone summer weather. Waited a minute, but well worth it. Food came out hot and delicious. All 3 of us were not disappointed, Fresh ingredients, not soaking in oil or grease. Healthy alternative to a great breakfast!

If you like real food that is hand selected and made fresh to order then this is your place. If you're looking for a cheap fast meal that was defrosted in a microwave then plated and served you'd better head for one of the famous chain places scattered along the main highways of "anytown" USA. Melanie's, on the other hand,... More

We went on a Saturday morning. Plan to get there early because they fill up quickly. I had the Appalachian breakfast. It was huge, but delicious. Instead of the gravy for the biscuit I asked for the apple butter, but used it on my pancake instead. It was amazing! Server was great. Will definitely go back the next time in... More
