We had brunch here. The food was very fresh. Excellent sausage gravy & biscuits. The service was great!

First visit in June 2014. Great experience, will be a regular stop to eat on return visits to Boone. Great breakfast site (have good lunches and dinner too) in Boone, NC. Eggs Benedict, Western Omelet, Spanish Omelet superb. They brag about their Hash, haven't tried it. Nice wait staff, great chef who's a graduate of a Culinary School.

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our two meals. Always a good sign when the parking lot is packed on a weekday (Friday) morning. Saturday wasn't such a surprise because we already knew what we'd be getting. That's why we came back. The food is EXCELLENT. We all applied the same rating to a variety of selections. Coffee is very... More

We had a chance to try to the Sunrise Grill while staying at a local hotel that doesn't offer a free breakfast. This is a good breakfast spot with a wide variety of options. For example, my wife had a small breakfast and I enjoyed a heartier meal. The food was good, the place was clean and the service was... More

Visited Boone May 18-19, 2014. Breakfast on Sunday was so good (Denver omelet and homemade biscuit) that we returned again on Monday morning (banana nut bread French toast). We had only a short wait on Sunday and no wait on Monday. Everyone was extremely friendly and our servers on both days were very attentive - my coffee cup never ran... More

I was there on a Sunday with a small group and the food and service was terrible. The server seemed very weird and it took her half an hour to give us the check. We won't be going back.

Reading Advisor reviews we were warned in advance that we would have a wait. We did. Sunrise Grill is also short on parking spots. The good news - it was worth the wait. Very reasonably priced. Lots of menu selections. Once seated (we were offered seating outside, (but declined) we quickly had drinks, and shortly after our food. We didn't... More

Trish and I continue our once a week trip to Sunrise Grill, in Boone, NC from Linville, NC each week to enjoy the wonderful breakfast and perhaps the most pleasent service staff we have ever encountered in a restaurant. This makes our second year for this weekly pilgrimage. Try the Eggs Benedict or Pancakes for a memorable treat. Alan Winger

Great place for breakfast. Only downside is most often too crowded and no real place to wait inside. A reason for the name "Sunrise" (get there early)

Excellent breakfast before going to Sugar Mountain for a day of ski. I got scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon strips. They offer a big selection of breakfast combinations. All the waitresses are very young. Casual atmosphere and fast service. Recommended.
