Cool Local Breakfast Joint

We packed up our camping gear and heading to Sunrise Grill around 9:30am on a Sunday morning. There was no wait and the crowd was a nice mix of people. Liked the funky décor, and the staff was very friendly. Loved all the breakfast options!! And although I'm a hash fiend, I opted for the hash eggs... read more

They easily accommodated our group of 14. Every order came out perfect. Pancakes and waffles were beyond amazing, and the Corned Beef Hash is a must try, for sure! Homemade biscuits, and the grits were excellent as well. So many yummy sounding options, it was really hard to choose! Oh, and the kids all you can eat special of silver... More

Finest breakfast around. Our second visit in the last three days. Everything is delish that we have tried. Hash, french toast, omletts, soft boiled eggs, and we really loved the rye bread toast. We'll be going again soon I hope. And the coffee was very good.

This is a busy local favorite with great breakfast selection. The staff is great and the wait not too bad. Try the specialty sauces.

Had breakfast here on our last day of vacationing in the mountains. After reading other reviews, this sounded like our kind of place. The staff was great with explaining parts of the menu and keeping the coffee cup filled. If you like biscuits and gravy, this place can set the bar.

Four of us wanted breakfast before a golf match. We tried Sunrise Grill. It was okay, but nothing special. The 90 sanitary rating is a put-off. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. Half of the building is an empty shell where the rest rooms are located. The rest is the well-worn grill area.

Four of us went to the Sunrise Grill for breakfast on a recent Sunday morning. Caution....get there before 9 a.m. to avoid waiting in line. The breakfast menu was extensive and very reasonably priced for the portion size and quality of food. Our choices were - Eggs Benedict, French Toast with cream cheese 'inside' and the Mountaineer quiche....meat filled egg... More

Dropped in for breakfast. The pancakes were to die for. My eggs were perfect. The service was great. A definite for breakfast and the price was just right.
