We had an early reservation a few nights ago for dinner before a concert, we had heard good things so we were anxious to try it. The menu is interesting with a lot of choices. Our party of 3 started with appetizers of salads. My husband and friend loved the heirloom tomato salad with goat cheese, I had the Bibb... More

I liked the combination of local dishes prepared with a chef's touch. The sweet potato gnocchi was delicious and the beet ravioli was filled with creamy fresh cheese and topped with sliced green apple.. Add a bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate torte and we had a special dinner for around $100.

We had heard so much about Vidalia I was excited to finally go there with friends for dinner. The place is small, 10 tables, so I would recommend reservations. It's nicely decorated with very cool art on the wall and has an upscale atmosphere. But, it is noisy too. My hubby and I found the chairs to be very uncomfortable... More

The food at Vidalia is delicious -- interesting arrangements and combinations, very expertly prepared. The service is very attentive and helpful. BUT the place is NOISY!!! It's a very small space and tables are tightly packed and the place is usually full. So, if you want to have a conversation with your dining partners, choose somewhere else. If you are... More

This tiny restaurant fills up quickly and we had been traveling all day so we decided to beat the crowd and eat early. We are glad we did. The restaurant feels like a cozy local haunt, our waitress was very nice and gave good service. My husband started with a very delicious bibb Caesar salad with dressing on the side,... More

This place was a little more on the upscale side and we were dressed super casual from hiking earlier. The service was fantastic, the food was outstanding, and it had a great ambiance.

I love trout and I was not disappointed with this one. I liked also the art on the walls. Great service. I also like that they will split the check for you if requested when ordered.

We stumbled upon Vidalia while searching TripAdvisor for a local BBQ joint. The entire family was wanting to experience the local cuisine while we were vacationing near Boone and I am so glad we chose Vidalia!! We were actually being served by the co-owner (something we discovered after seeing her picture framed in the back near the restrooms), which explained... More

What a great find! Crowded even on Sunday evening. Service was friendly. Wonderful new take on Chicken and Dumplings, with sweet potato gnocchi in place of doughy dumplings. And the contemporary version of meatloaf...wow! Desserts were excellent . Beware, the house-made ice cream trio comes in three bowls! Very good meal.

We LOVED it. We were a little worried when we were treated rudely by a hostess. SO GLAD we didn't walk away. Our little waitress was great. We sat at the bar for a an extraordinary taste fest. Julius and his fellas did it up right. My husband and I enjoyed every single bite from the pickles to the soup... More
