Tasty Brunch

We stopped at Vidalia when looking for a place to eat in Boone NC. This was a wonderfully appointed restaurant and wine bar. Interesting design and terrifically clean. We both had the Frittata. It was presented in a hot iron skillet that kept the food hot and tasty. All of the ingredients are from... read more

Four of us visited Vidalia based upon the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were quite disappointed by the food and the beverages. Wine was served in a very small glass. The margarita was mediocre. On the positive side, the French fries were good and plentiful, but the rest of the food was quite unremarkable. Perhaps this restaurant is popular because of... More

Oh so yummy! Fantastic wine and an awesome bloody mary at the new bar. No detail has been overlooked. The wine bottle light fixtures are so cool and we loved the wine crate bar. The service was fantastic and the food even better. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and the flavors were incredible. The tomato pie is ridiculous... More

The menu at Vidalia is varied and the choice we made were super. The fried Vidalia onion as an appetizer started the meal off right. The four of us were surprised that it appears that this restaurant is a well kept secret for lunch. The secret is out; go and enjoy!

Have been going to Vidalia for several years and have enjoyed it as a charming and quaint restaurant with good food. Since it's expansion and remodel it is extremely noisy to the level of not hearing the others sitting at our table. I ordered a Bibb wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and got a Caesar salad with blue cheese.... More

My husband and I ended up at Vidalia last night when our favorite pizza place was overflowing. We went to have a glass of wine and hang out until our table was ready at the other place, but we liked it so much we stayed. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great draft from... More

5 of use went for dinner. I had the Appalachian Burger: burger, pimento cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, broiche bun, served with fries. I wanted veggies instead and got kale, broccoli and zucchini. We shared a little skillet of Mac and cheese that was to die for.

Went with the in-laws a few days ago after having ignored the place for a few years. They're working on up-dating the draft beer menu (to compete with Mellow Mush next door) and there was plenty of staff to answer questions. I went up to the grill and the chef and an assistant answered all of my questions and suggested... More
