Fabulous Restaurant, great prices. Have eaten at Vidalia more frequently than anywhere else in Boone. Wonderful. Good for Business, good for take out, good for couples and friends. Food served promptly and all food equally good. The additional size has improved the restaurant by making it less noisy and more spacious. Very nice.

Interesting menu/well prepared food/personable waitress! Very comfortable décor/good location/good prices for a high end dining experience.

Our food was done to perfection. The drinks were wonderful and the service was on point as well. We would go back next time in town.

Party of four all ordered different, but nothing was really prepared to our satisfaction. The service was okay but once our meal was served, our server disappears. Could be that servers are students and just don't have the experience yet, but that would not explain the food

Wonderful use of local foods - trout, lettuces, cheeses (dressings) and veggies. Best pork chop I have ever had - (Heritage Farms) cooked perfectly, still juicy, with a great Cheerwine BBQ sauce (for which i had low expectations) sour cherries, and unique (and delicious) fingerlings. Accompanying vegs were perfect - especially baby/miniature eggplants (and I hate eggplant). My family loved... More

We've been visiting Vidalia for a number of years and have always enjoyed the food and the service. Recently when we ate there we both had the tuna special and liked it so much that we went back and ate the same thing again! With the expansion it is noisier and bright but still our favorite restaurant in Boone.

We were in Boone for a meeting, and we stopped this restaurant after hearing great things about it. The food was great and the service was very good, but the prices were greatly inflated, in my opinion. The desserts were very good. And the onion rings were amazing. If I go back, it will be for the onion rings.

We heard good things about Vidalia and their local food. The local sourcing is outstanding. Cheeses from Ashe County Cheese Factory, oils and vinegars from the Art of Oil, bread from Stick Boy Bread. We had their renown chicken and waffles. The fried chicken was excellent as were the waffles. The kale side dish needed to be better stemmed, and... More

My dieting but hungry husband and I selected Vidalia's because it seemed a perfect place to get a satisfying salad. A previous trip to this restaurant had left a very good impression on us. This time, however, we encountered a rude surprise. Jim's Heirloom Tomato Salad, priced at $12.00, consisted of about 5 artistically arranged slices of tomato, drizzled with... More
