Expanded space

Ate here for the first time since they have expanded their space. The restaurant lost a bit of character in the expansion but the food is still excellent. I had the trout and my son had the steak and fries. The cornbread the garnished my fish was excellent. The fries with the steak were so good... read more

We were looking for a date night dinner spot on our recent trip to Boone and after reviewing the menu online we chose Vidalia. We walked in and were not overly impressed with the overall ambiance. I think it would have made a huge difference if they had muted the lighting to create more of a mood. That being said,... More

Great food, great setting. Menu is fresh and local. We had the frittata, rabbit omelette, and the duck bennies.. Everything was amazing.

This is my favorite restaurant. Their offerings are always creative and consistent. They have contemporary dishes but with a twist. Plates are beautifully prepared. Lovely place for Sunday brunch and since they have expanded their space, it is better than ever. We have eaten here for both brunch and dinner. It is our "go to" place when family comes into... Our last night in town, we wanted something a bit lighter and decided on “Vidalia” in the upper part of town. Ambiance was cool with the high ceilings and the wine racks. I chose the Circle W Burger and it was served with a couple of fried onion rings on top/with spicy fries etc. It was good quality, as far... More

Four of us visited Vidalia based upon the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were quite disappointed by the food and the beverages. Wine was served in a very small glass. The margarita was mediocre. On the positive side, the French fries were good and plentiful, but the rest of the food was quite unremarkable. Perhaps this restaurant is popular because of... More

We stopped at Vidalia when looking for a place to eat in Boone NC. This was a wonderfully appointed restaurant and wine bar. Interesting design and terrifically clean. We both had the Frittata. It was presented in a hot iron skillet that kept the food hot and tasty. All of the ingredients are from local sources.

Oh so yummy! Fantastic wine and an awesome bloody mary at the new bar. No detail has been overlooked. The wine bottle light fixtures are so cool and we loved the wine crate bar. The service was fantastic and the food even better. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and the flavors were incredible. The tomato pie is ridiculous... More
