Small place with AMAZING food!

My parents took us here for my birthday in December and the food was absolutely amazing everything we got was delicious & my dessert was the best thing I've ever tasted. My wife and I did some hiking along the parkway and stayed at the Courtyard. It was a Friday night and although recommended we were advised that we would not get in without a reservation. Well we went and we did get in. The staff are fabulous as is the food. My wife had chicken and waffles and I had... More

I love the food and service here, it is excellent. The only complaint I have is that I wish they were in a bigger establishment. Some nights you may need a reservation, and one time I went with my significant other and sat at a table with two chairs and it was kind of a small area and felt a... More

Although the menu offers many, many choices, I was really looking forward to a burger and fries. Not disappointed...the burger was hot, juicy, perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. Fries were served hot and just crispy enough without being overcooked. The wait staff was friendly and attentive - give Vidalia a try!

We usually enjoy dining at Vidalia, but did not have the best of meals. For the style of restaurant, tatar tots should not be store bought, but made in-house. Chef should not be coughing and hacking in front of customers. The chicken and dumplings were completely flavorless. The truffle fries have been down graded to plain fries with an aioli... More

This place is small but intimate. It was a cold night outside but we were warm inside. The pistachio pate appetizer and fig and prosciutto salad were outstanding. I loved the flavors of the salad with the balsamic vinegar dressing. My husband had the elk meatloaf, which was very good. Well seasoned and accompanied by one of the best mac... More

Used Traveler Advisor to find a place for dinner. Finally decided on Visalia. We were not dissappointed. Our party of 4 was delighted with their choices. Creative menu well executed. Small restaurant. Completely full even on weeknight. Be sure and call ahead for reservation. Would definitely return.

Selected Vidalia for lunch after reading TA reviews. We were not disappointed. We had the pimento and cheese sandwich and the ham and cheese sandwich. Everything about them was delicious, especially the thinly sliced homemade potato chips. We'll be back the next time we're in Boone.
