Awesome Burritos!

Went with the family for an early dinner after a long day of tubing the New River. Good selection of cold beer and delicious, huge burritos! Casual student bar-restaurant, nothing fancy here, but very comfortable. The appearance of a really fun bar at night! Would definitely go back.

This is an odd little homey-feel restaurant, with a small feeling inside, and a small entryway on a side street in Boone. But once you taste the food, you will want to come back. People come long distances to eat here. Lots of college kids eat here, too. Prices are great. Food is as good as it gets. Ambience is... More

If you are vegan and trying to modify a burrito as such, keep in mind the rice contains butter and the chipotle tortilla wraps contain dairy. Also, make sure to check your food before you eat. 50% of the time when I order a burrito with no cheese or rice I cut it open to find cheese or rice inside.... More

My wife and I had lunch at Black Cat Burrito and it was fantastic. I attended school in Boone a few years ago and it's nice to see Black Cat is still here and doing well. I recommend the Satay Burrito and my wife got the Thai Me Up Burrito which we also enjoyed.

We've eaten here twice and both times the food has been great. A great selection of craft beers if you're into that to go along with some amazing burritos. Some other items on the menu but I'm hooked on the Jerk Burrito. Delish.

BEST QUESO IN TOWN. I just drench my burrito in the queso and each it with chips. Everyone try it! Don't you dare charge me for extra slaw!

Service was friendly and prompt. Sampler tray was nice size, but chips weren't heated. Guacamole seemed to be blended with cream cheese, I like it and the mango salsa. My wife likes the queso. Burrito could also have used more heat (not spice). It was the least busy restaurant. I'd only come back under same circumstance.

If you are in Boone you have GOT to eat here! The ambiance was perfect, the food was delicious and filling and the service was great. Small restaurant off a side street but if you are in the area it is a MUST!

The service was super slow and burrito guy in back was dancing while rubbing his nose the whole time he was wrapping! (It was literally dripping). Our order came out wrong 3 times! It was snowing out and 30 degrees, yet staff refused to close the door to the outside as multiple patrons asked. Of the 10 of us who... More
