Boone needs a coffee spot that serves it like this place. My sister and I were looking for a local place to grab a cup o' Joe and stumbled upon this place. The prices were reasonable and the coffee better than any chain restaurant.

The Red Onion is a tasty place for a a delicious lunch. We ate outside under cover on a cool, rainy day, and they made us feel right at home by lighting the outside heater and providing thoughtful attention to compliment their great salad.

After seeing that so many people like this place, we went there with another couple. The ice tea had a great flavor. We all shared an artichoke dip which was very good and came with bread rounds, celery, and carrots. One of our party ordered a gluten-free burger which had to be re-made when it came to the table in... More

Had reservations and were seated right away, but our entire party noted that it was colder than a Waffle House! The blue cheese salad was perfect. The sirloin and the cajun chicken pasta were also very good. The pasta can feed two people easily. We did request more bread, but never got it. They were also out of baked potatoes,... More

My wife & I both had the Low Country Salmon. Oh, what a delicious meal! Our waitress was very personable and attentive. I would recommend Red Onion with no reservations - wonderful!

My husband and I had lunch here on July 4 around 2pm. We were seated quickly, our server arrived promptly and was very friendly. The food was great! Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We've been vacationing in Boone for several weeks and keep returning to this great restaurant. A must try is their Bibb Salad and their homemade pizza with fresh roasted vegetables...Key Lime Pie, the best!

Hubby and I ate here for lunch on a Saturday. We sat indoors as we had been hiking and wanted to sit in the AC. Outdoor patio was almost full, but only one other couple was indoors. By the time we left, there were a lot more folks inside. The ambiance and décor were nice. We enjoyed our food-- burger... More

Came in last Saturday with the family, had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, our waitress, trina I believe. Seemed flustered and frustrated. Our salads came out after 20 more minutes, and when we finally got them and asked for more dressing, she rolled her eyes and there was audible complaining coming from the... More

We stopped in for lunch, and sat on the outside terrace. The terrace had a nice crowd and somehow seemed a better atmosphere than the inside. Service was attentive and flawless. The menu had a reasonable selection if one is not seeking fine dining (which at lunchtime for the typical American style, is quite appropriate). There is a nice selection... More
