Haven't been to Pepper's for awhile - have been going for over 20 yr. Tonight was possibly our last for dinners. No longer have our favorite: teriyaki chicken & steak; also prices have gone up considerably. Service was still very good & staff still friendly. Might go for lunch sometimes, but not dinner

Arrived in Boone, NC for an event. Friday evening 6 of us headed to Pepper's Restaurant on the recommendation of the staff at the Holiday Inn Express. Friday evening we had excellent service and the food was good. On Wednesday evening we returned to the restaurant because our Friday night experience was good. This time we had 10 people and... More

We have lived in Boone for over 15 years and Pepper's is an institution that earns our next visit every time. Great salad bar, large and balanced menu, great bar selection. Atmosphere works well for a night out or with the fam.

Peppers is a perfectly adequate place to eat. My husband and I had lunch there recently. His fish tacos were very good. I had the grilled salmon "diet plate" and the salmon was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired -- cramped, dark, very dated decor. Definitely not a "special occasion" or "treat" type... More

I ordered the baseball steak medium rare and it was well done. It was as dry and over cooked as as section of 2 x 4 lumber. It ruined my appetite and I could not eat anything else on my plate. The service was okay, but the waitress did not really know the draft selection nor procure multiple copies of... More

Previous visits have been enjoyable; many menu items are very good but the personal margarita pizza is to be avoided. Pub chips are excellent as are the onion rings. Atmosphere is what you look for in a pub scene and staff is friendly. Since it is in a strip mall outdoor seating consists of a few doubles out front.

Peppers is a local treat. I never pass up an opportunity to enjoy a meal here. My only complaints are : the service has gotten really slow over the last few months, and that they have started charging almost $2 for fries when you replace you bagged chips. It used to be free. I love them anyway!

This is a favorite lunch/dinner spot when we're in the area. Food is always good no matter what you get. They have a great salad bar too. Staff is always friendly and you never feel they rush you.

If you are going to Boone, NC, don't miss a meal at Peppers. House made pub chips with ranch, best burger in town, blackened salmon Caesar salad (or wrap), carrot cake. Everything on the menu is superb! Don't miss it! Onion rings, omg!

This is a great local restaurant. We average eating here 6 times a year. Food is good although some items can be a little pricy. Staff is friendly and accommodating to your needs.
