Loved everything about this little place

Husband and I had breakfast at this little diner in Sept, 2014 on our way to Grandfather Mountain. We loved the nostalgic setting. Our breakfast was delicious (and not pricey), and the staff was friendly enough. This was a highlight of our almost week-long trip. The area itself (Boone) is... read more

We ate at Troy's 105 Diner for breakfast for two reasons. One is because, I swear, it is probably the only place in Boone that has a sanitation score above a 95. Two is because it was right next to (within walking distance of) our hotel. Their breakfast menu isn't huge, but contains all the classics you would want -eggs,... More

I have been here twice and each time the service was great and so was the food. They have a large variety of options. I got a burger that was great and a salad that was great too.

Grabbed a quick lunch at this diner as we were traveling through town for the first time. The diner itself is not aesthetically pleasing inside as it has been well used. The food however was absolutely delicious!! Got an awesome club sandwich and fries and it was great!!! Good service too!

I think people come here to enjoy the atmosphere more than the food, but that's not to say the food isn't good. I usually don't like burgers, but the one I had filled me up so well that I couldn't eat the fries. If I'm through here again, I will stop again. If you want a place that looks like... More

I arrived for a breakfast around 11:00. I chose this place because it was close to my hotel and I saw it on the way. It looks like an old time diner. There were many people getting there at the same time or already eating, but the service was fast. I sat at the bar and I ate looking at... More

Tis a Diner in the 1950s style with Sandwiches, Soup, Salad and comfort food and great cobbler / apple pie. Staff were welcoming and folksy that fit the Diner appeal.

Wife and I were on a ski weekend and wanted to have a hearty Sunday no nonsense breakfast beyond the hotel continental breakfast. Troy's hit the spot with service, availability and quality. The diner was very busy and they seated us promptly and the waiter was quick to find us. French toast great, western omelette good, pineapple milkshake extraordinary, link... More

If you want a diner experience in which you really think you might have time-traveled, here is your dream come true. The decor is so perfect, it will make you forget to look at the menu. The menu is diner perfection, and the food is generous and great southern-style cooking. Clean, well organized, even the bathrooms are beautiful. Do it!
