Great Diner Food

While on vacation over the July 4th weekend, my partner and I ate here for dinner on our day of arriving. We found it to be so good we ate dinner here a second time. The building's a great old fashioned diner, inside and out. Our waitress both times was friendly and very attentive. And the food... read more

Stayed next door at the Comfort Suites and had breakfast here two days in a row. Great grits, biscuits and gravy, and eggs over easy. Nice staff, good coffee,

Onion rings are very good. Country fried steak is too. Have been multiple times and never had a bad meal. Fast, friendly service.

Very nice little 50's theme restaurant. Never gotten a bad meal here. Food is always prepared fresh and very tasty. Waitstaff is always friendly and welcoming. Decent prices!

Good burgers, great waffles! Reasonable prices and good variety in menu choices. A nice step back to the 50's with value and good service... one of our favorite breakfast joints

This was our last meal in Boone. It was just okay. They do have really good batter fried French fries. Other than that, it was just food. Sorry, but we won't be returning.

We visited the Smoky Mountains and stopped in Boone on our way back home. Last year we did the same thing, and also stopped for dinner here, but the food seemed to be lacking a bit since last year. Dinner was fish, fries, and slaw. Not the best, but not the worst, except the slaw which was very bland. NC... More

Food was ok. Service not good and FYI.....an 18% tip is included in your bill. We had 6 people in our party so I don't know if you have a certain amount of people in your party it's mandatory or not. Will not be eating here again.

Service was good. Food was less than special. Frozen pickles for an appetizer... Too mushy, and way too much breading, our 9 year old enjoyed hers but it was an egg and a slice of toast n two pieces of deep fried bacon. ( why can't bacon be cooked on a flat top I'll never understand) The patty melt was... More

Visited “Troy’s 105 Diner” today in Boone for breakfast. The Diner is funky in the old 40/50’s style and I was hopeful it would follow through with a memorable breakfast. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its initial presentation in my mind. I had a feeling we were in trouble, when five young children walked in, sat down in... More
