Great burgers!

This place as amazing burgers! I would advise if you are a light eater to split one with someone because they are huge!

Service was good. Food was less than special. Frozen pickles for an appetizer... Too mushy, and way too much breading, our 9 year old enjoyed hers but it was an egg and a slice of toast n two pieces of deep fried bacon. ( why can't bacon be cooked on a flat top I'll never understand) The patty melt was... More

Visited “Troy’s 105 Diner” today in Boone for breakfast. The Diner is funky in the old 40/50’s style and I was hopeful it would follow through with a memorable breakfast. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its initial presentation in my mind. I had a feeling we were in trouble, when five young children walked in, sat down in... More

We enjoyed the food, but you aren't going to get very full, except on all the bread you'll be eating.....Very small portions of meat on sandwiches, plates.....But they will load you up on fries and bread here! :-(

We had traveled up to Boone and got ab early dinner so around 8 decided to walk next door to the hotel to this great little dinner. Once you walk in you realize this diner is special. It is a very old fashioned diner but kept so awesome. We had the brownie sundae it was HUGE and so much icecream.... More

If you like chrome and neon...this is the place to go. This was our second visit to Troy's and it will NOT be our last. The four of us all had breakfast items and everything was really good. Our waitress, Debra, was very attentive, kept our coffee mugs full, and had a great sense of humor. Who doesn't like a... More

We were doing a road trip in July 2014 (New York - Florida) and stopped in Boone. We had lunch in Troy's diner, just by luck! Wow! these burgers... The best I had during the whole trip! The waitress was sooooo nice! Kids loved it.

The stop here was spur of the moment -- about 2:30 PM. We were tired and our hotel was next door. Really expected it to be a bad choice, but anxious to check into the hotel. To our amazement, the food was Good. Flavorful, good quality, and fresh. Good service too. Daily specials and large variety on the dinner menu.... More

This place was a great place to eat. Our children loved it & our grandmother said she felt like she was young again! Our waiter was extremely nice & helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious! My husband was a little shocked with the bill. Haha!

We ate breakfast there and it was better than average for this type of food. It could use a little more cleaning on the inside but the food made up for that. Take the time to eat here instead of the chains.
