Worth stopping at

We ate at Troy's 105 Diner for breakfast for two reasons. One is because, I swear, it is probably the only place in Boone that has a sanitation score above a 95. Two is because it was right next to (within walking distance of) our hotel. Their breakfast menu isn't huge, but contains all the... read more

My kids ordered a burger and fries and chicken tender basket. They enjoyed them very much. I got the bbq plate, which left slot to be desired. The okra was good. The coleslaw was not flavorful at all. The bbq sauce was tasty but the meat itself was very dry and small portioned. I think I'd try a burger next... More

My wife, daughter and I stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday. It was not busy at all and is located off of a major roadway in Boone. The theme and decor is as you would imagine, a diner, and it fits the bill perfectly inside and out. We were seated quickly and our drink orders arrived quickly.... More

We've been eating here for years but our last couple of visits have been pretty negative experiences. When the owners are in the service is great but our last visit the order was wrong, the food was luke warm and it took almost 30 minutes to get drink refills and our ticket. The wait staff seems to be the issue,... More

Husband and I had breakfast at this little diner in Sept, 2014 on our way to Grandfather Mountain. We loved the nostalgic setting. Our breakfast was delicious (and not pricey), and the staff was friendly enough. This was a highlight of our almost week-long trip. The area itself (Boone) is beautiful. Definitely hope to get back here some time. Highly... More

I have been here twice and each time the service was great and so was the food. They have a large variety of options. I got a burger that was great and a salad that was great too.

Grabbed a quick lunch at this diner as we were traveling through town for the first time. The diner itself is not aesthetically pleasing inside as it has been well used. The food however was absolutely delicious!! Got an awesome club sandwich and fries and it was great!!! Good service too!

I think people come here to enjoy the atmosphere more than the food, but that's not to say the food isn't good. I usually don't like burgers, but the one I had filled me up so well that I couldn't eat the fries. If I'm through here again, I will stop again. If you want a place that looks like... More

I arrived for a breakfast around 11:00. I chose this place because it was close to my hotel and I saw it on the way. It looks like an old time diner. There were many people getting there at the same time or already eating, but the service was fast. I sat at the bar and I ate looking at... More
