Food and Fun

Not so much a tavern but rather a sports bar. The food is good for being bar food. If your are looking for quick food cooked properly and this is the spot.

I went after 9 when only the late night menu was available. The bartender was sort of a jerk but was cool once I was a few beers in. Good food and great atmosphere.

We went to the Friday fish night. This is the best fish anywhere in Boone, Avery, Watauga and Ashe counties. Great fresh selection of fish and shellfish fixed several different ways. Cannot wait until next Friday!

Prices, food, and service are all great! Best Buffalo Chicken wrap in town. Cant beat wing night either. Definitely recommend over other bars in town.

Joined colleagues for a business meeting and dinner. The food was good. Service was fast. I had a Biscayne Cobb salad, one of the ladies had a Cuban sandwich and the others had wings. The salad was very fresh and good quality blue cheese. The lady who had the Cuban sandwich said it was one of the best she's had... More

Lots of food for the money and great service by Brie. We had a coupon for this place and were a bit skeptical since it is a college town, but we were pleasantly surprised.

We stopped in on our way home from running the Bear. They had a full menu and lots of folks (always a good sign at any restaurant!) The burger was awesome! My friend ordered the nachos... delicious! Good to know that something is open late in Blowing Rock that has good food and drinks!

Grabbed a groupon and had a quick dinner here. We hit cheap wing night and they accepted the groupon making it a very affordable night. Despite it being a bar, my teenage daughter was very comfortable.

This pub is under new management and they are trying very hard to provide good quality with reasonable prices. I wish them the best of luck and encourage you to try them out!

If you want the real food and experience, go to the Town Tavern in Blowing Rock. This place is awful for food. Today I made an order to-go that they got wrong so I had to leave and come back. When I actually got my order (a buffalo chicken wrap) they had just put it together so sloppily. I even... More
