We love this restaurant. There are many delicious choices on the menu. Service can be on the slower side, but I think that's because the food is fresh and made to order. Let the pace of the mountain atmosphere take over and enjoy yourself! :-)

Labor Day weekend, so quite busy. Seated at about 1:15, took about 10 minutes to get water, another 5 for our order to be taken. Then about 50 minutes to receive our food. Son's lunch came out several minutes before ours. Don't know if they were short-staffed, but from reading other reviews it seems like this isn"t unusual. I understand... More

My daughter introduced us to this place during a recent visit to NC. We enjoyed everything we tried and didn't go away hungry!

The service was soooo slow I wished I had packed a snack! We waite 10 minutes before a waiter approached us for a drink order. I understand they had a server out long term, but in the mean time they still have a business to run. Thankfully we were not in a hurry. After such a long wait, I'm talking... More

We were passing through and other reviews led us to this quaint cafe on Main Street of a small college town. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. There were seven in our party so we had a pretty good sampling of the food. I really enjoyed my Ghost Cheese Burger (this was spicy even by Texas standards... More

I loved the restaurant and we had good service, but the salmon sandwich I had was just overdone for my tastes. Not overcooked, just a lot of flavors thrown together. The menu looks like that's their style, and you "foodies" out there who equate different with better will probably enjoy it more than I. I had a blackened salmon sandwich... More

Been here many times over the past 3 or 4 years. Highly recommend all of their food and most definitely all the smoothies. It's all great. The food is fresh, incredibly tasty and the selection is rife in the best of ways. The food takes a while to come out, and you may think twice at first, but it is... More

Loved Tupelo's (pre-Hob Nob), but this place is even better. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner is always amazing! A little pricey, but very large portions and fantastic, fresh ingredients make it well worth it. Have been dozens of times and always love it!

Hob Nob Farm Cafe only accepts cash or check, no credit cards, but there is an ATM inside the door, so that's helpful. A quirky place with a quirky atmosphere, Hob Nob Farm Cafe has a covered outdoor porch that's a fun place to eat, people watch, and stare at the mountains. Food options can be a little offbeat, but... More

Sit outside under the new veranda and enjoyed a very different menu. Interesting to combine a lot of Mexican dishes with healthy and local options. All sorts of unusual smoothies and drinks. We had a very knowledgable waitress. Fun to eat outside and watch the foot and car traffic! They do not take plastic!
