Got the chicken quesadilla when I came here for the first time. It was amazing!!! Also the staff were so friendly. I would come back here and hopefully I will be down here again so I can!!

Boone Saloon is easily the best bar on King Street for drinks and meeting people if you're not just into the college scene in a college town. The food is good and reasonably priced, especially if you hit Taco Tuesday for a solid cheap meal and lively bar scene. I've always had great service, but I am a bit of... More

The food is what you expect for bar food. I ordered the salmon sandwich and liked it but it was missing something. It's somewhat of a bland sandwich but that doesn't bother me too much. The beer selection is good. The poor rating is due to the snobby staff and average decor.

We had drinks and dinner at the bar here. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the salad I ordered it even came with a cilantro vinaigrette that was delish. My husband liked the bar atmosphere. Everything was very inexpensive. We loved it.

This bar has the typical bar food but an excellent selection of craft beer. Friendly staff and gorgeous wooden bar and architecture. Not your typical dingy college town bar.

Although my wife and I are a couple of generations away from students, we enjoyed our visit to the Boone Saloon. Granted, it was pretty quiet when we went in but the young barmaid was very nice and we also enjoyed chatting to a couple of young locals. Our beer was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal of Buffalo... More

This is a great location to grab a meal, drink beer, and enjoy a game or band. This is the traditional bar for Boone Faculty and Grad students. It is not a popular bar with undergrads unless a band is performing.

Good bar scene. Bartenders could be a little more polite and service oriented. Good music but way too loud.

We enjoyed hanging out at the Boone Soloon. Located right on the main drag and steps from the college, they had an ample variety of beer on tap and the mac and cheese was easily the best I have ever had.

If you want a cheap strong drink, this is the place. $4.00 for a supercharged G & T. Had the habanero BBQ wings and it was worth losing some taste buds. Hot but flavorful. Great fries. Split a chicken wrap on naan bread with my husband which was also good. Went for a Bloody Mary the next day and brunch... More
