Lovely dinner with friends

The owner was a complete delight, friendly and attentive. The waiters were helpful as we moved inside out of the rain. The outside seating is very pleasant with umbrellas, and the inside is lovely wood, most elegant. The Pad Thai a bit sweet for me, but loved the Pad Kai Khum, rice noodles, egg... read more

Our family (including an 8 and 10 year old) had a phenomenal dinner here. It is a beautiful and quiet restaurant and a serene break after a busy day of sightseeing. They were very welcoming to our kids and all the waitstaff were friendly and helpful. (A sweet bus boy refolded my daughters napkin into its original cool shape.) The... More

Have eaten here many times, the latest for lunch on Sunday. My spouse and I shared an order of fresh rolls with shrimp, which were the best I've had anywhere. We also had the larb salad with chicken, which we've ordered several times, and it was just as piquant and delicious as ever. The service is always gracious and professional,... More

I am not a fan of Thai food. That said, I had the red curry with tofu and loved it. Our server was attentive. The price was fair. Next time I am in Boone, I will be back.

If you like Thai food and you don't go to this restaurant, you made a big old mistake. From the moment you walk through the door, you are in Thailand. Exquisite decor! Beautiful Thai servers! Exotic ambience, full and widely varied menu, and you will be served absolutely authentic Thai food in a big quantity, at a nice price, fantastic... More

Cha da Thai is easily the best restaurant in Boone. The lunch specials are by far the best value around; only $6 for a perfect portion of 5 star quality food that comes with a soup or salad, and the service is very fast, even when they are busy. I took a friend there for lunch once and we got... More

I get a migraine from eating MSG so I asked them to not put it in my food. The food tasted like MSG and I immediately started getting a headache as I was eating. The food tastes good but if you're sensitive to MSG I would recommend avoiding them.

My husband and I ate in here for dinner while visiting Boone, and loved it. The decor is very cute and friendly. The staff was great. The food was full of flavor and reasonably priced. We will be back!

A group of five of us tried the lunch. We tried different lunch specials. The salad was too spicy for everyone at the table and nearly everyone left their salad. The soup was quite tasty. Massaman curry (very good), panang curry (very watery and fairly good), sesame chicken (looked good but chicken chunks were so big and we had no... More

We arrived at the restaurant (6 of us) to eat prior to seeing a play at App State. We arrived 65 minutes prior to needing to leave and informed the restaurant of that. The restaurant was not at all full when we arrived. This would typically be enough time to order and eat in 99.999% of thai restaurants with no... More
