Low-key, down-to-earth, and unpretentious. This is a great little restaurant. Our food and the service was excellent. Our visit was also a great value! Howls of joy!

Cute little restaurant with a big menu! Very small and quaint inside but we did not have to wait for seating. You can sit outside or inside. Food was very good ... Beer wasn't quite cold enough but that didn't seem to stop it from disappearing. Large selection and great spot to try - just a little too "small and... More

I'm not one who loves spicy food and I should have inquired more before ordering the Kingston salad. My stomach is still on fire. It was delicious, though. My 13yo loved her shrimp tacos. My husband was more than happy to pay the bill after eating the pork burrito.

Stop in every time we are in Boone, never a disappointing experience. Don't change up the menu much, but don't need to. Sorta a tex-mex fusion with multiple tasty choices and generous portions. Indoor and outdoor seating kinda limited but adds to the ambience. Service is quick and pleasant. Only wish they would get craft beers on tap.

We stopped for lunch on our way back to Raleigh from Knoxville by way of Bristol and the snake. I had the Yucatan boat with the spicy pineapple habanero salsa and liked everything about it! The coconut rice was a great touch, the sauteed shrimp were cooked just right and plentiful, the sausage and onions were flavorful and there was... More

There is tex-mex, southwestern, and mexican. Put all of those together with flavors that you would not think of putting with any of these along with fresh ingredients cooked perfectly and this just begins to describe the food at Coyote Kitchen! And the portions are huge. We make a point to go there any time we are in Boone. Do... More

Coyote Kitchen is a restaurant in Boone, serving an eclectic mix of good food, described as Southwest Caribbean Soulfood. I really don't know what that means, but the food was quite good whatever you call it. We ate here while camping near Grandfather Mountain. My friend had gone to Appalachian State and knew all the good spots in Boone and... More

The absolute best chicken tacos I've ever had. Got the salsa with pineapple to top them with. Not to be missed!

The Coyote Kitchen Boone is located in a storefront in a strip mall off of Hwy 321 on Southgate Drive. The venue is extended out into the parking lot with a deck that has a few tables. Interior of the storefront is very basic with a checkout station and tables tightly placed in the small storefront of the strip-mall. Our... More
