The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all spectacular! This quaint and secluded restaurant transports you back in time! It provides such a romantic feeling and makes you feel like royalty.

A good friend recommended this restaurant and he was dead on!! Tiger Prawn was a fantastic appetizer. Wonderful pork chop and my wife had the grouper. Both were excellent!! Highly recommend!!

Rowland's is a fabulous find. nestled in The Westglow Spa and Resort! We were walked in the entrance to be lead to a warm, southern, intimate, and charming room which had an amazing view of the mountain at sunset. There was an outdoor porch and rocking chairs. To make the evening more charming, there was a pianist and a fire... More

I don't know where the other reviewers ate, but my experience was NOT 5-star. Atmosphere was marred by background Motown, a musical genre more fit for a burger joint. Food was bland and featured large portions canned vegetables. Service was polite but inexperienced. Wine list probably came from the local supermarket. The only element consistent with fine dining was the... More

If you want 5-star cuisine served in a 5-star yet personal friendly manner, THIS is where you want to be. The ambiance is delightful and the waitstaff (BRAVO, ROBERT!!), is superb.

After a great Thanksgiving dinner at Rowland's on 2009' this was our first trip back. We arrived early and had drinks on the portico and reviewed the menu and wine list. Great view of the mountains. For dinner we moved into the sunroom of the manor house and had a fantastic meal. I had the lamb and my wife had... More

Prior to our most recent trip to Nashville, Tennessee (we reside in the Raleigh, NC area), I did some on-line research regarding unique fine-dining restaurants on our trip route (both to and from). Our goal was to spend a day or two in the Boone/Blowing area of NC on our way back from Nashville, so I also focused on fine... More

We went to Rowland's for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Every dish was creative and exquisite. Portions are small but, as a result, you can have multiple courses and leave the restaurant content - not uncomfortably stuffed. We had the mussels app, the seabass entree, and beef tenderloin entree. Finished off with the chocolate (earth) dessert. Every dish was... More
