Some of the restaurants were so crowded or expensive that we walked into town and found this one. Nice find! We enjoyed fish and chips and Shepherd's pie. Super well-trained waiter kept checking on our table for refills. The pecan pie was amazing! Reasonable prices and well worth trying!

My husband & I had lunch here and were seated right away to a comfortable booth inside. There is outside dining also. The restaurant was clean and decorated with a lot of retro-tire art, old gas pumps and memorabilia. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink order of a Foothills Torch Pilsner (a light draft beer $4.25) and a... More

We were greeted by a nice lady and seated almost instantly. We had a great waitress that was very friendly. The food was beyond good. I left with a pleasantly full stomach and will visit the pub again.

I am not one for slating a place, but we had been before and had a wonderful experience. I told my family it was a must do, we went late lunch on a Saturday and was luckily enough to be seated straight away. That's the only good thing about the experience. Our waitress didn't seem to want to be at... More

The place was packed so we had beer and a light lunch at the bar. Great atmosphere and plenty of excellent beer choices.

ONE OF THE BEST FISH N' CHIPS I'VE HAD! They make it fresh to order and you can tell. Lovely breading and simple chips. Our waiter was super helpful! Don't remember his name...maybe Todd/Tyler something (buzzed hair, a few tattoos, mentioned going into the army coming up, visited July 2014) Gave us some great recs. for hiking trails and was... Nice pub, English themed with a nice variety of food. I loved the honey glazed salmon spinach salad with mustard vinaigrette! Husband had a good fish fry and we split sweet potato fries with bleu cheese sauce.

We really liked the food that we got. The Mushroom stuffed with Crab was really tasty. The Shepherds Pie (actually Cottage pie as they list) is the best we have had in a "pub" in North Carolina. Very friendly staff but the wait was slightly longer than we would have liked but that is a small niggle. We would recommend... More

We shared a table with family and friends on a recent Sunday afternoon. The food was great and the atmosphere is simply fun and festive. Don't miss a chance to treat yourself. We will return!

The menu was very diversified and the pub experience fun. The portions are extremely large and can easily be shared. The restaurant has pub recommendations as the suggested items and we tried the Pot Roast and also the Open beef sandwich which were recommended. Both dishes have lots of thick gravy and are served with mashed potatoes and fresh green... More
