Insofar as their bar is concerned, this place is a star. Makes you feel you're in England! Their lunch fare is quite good as well. My wife and I had shared their very good dishes of Shepherd's pie and Guinness beef. Both very hearty and delicious.

My wife and I had lunch here after shopping around. The menu was typical for English/American food and reasonably priced. The servers were considerate and helpful. I really enjoyed the burger I ordered and it was cooked exactly "Medium," which was what I requested. Great place. Want to go again soon.

Not your typical pub, Old Chap. Where else in Blowing Rock can one gorge on bangers and mash while watching the college World Series. Or, pick up a conversation from where you left off 3 weeks before with the same bartender who remembers where you live? Friendly is a misnomer...this place is always inviting. The patrons, as varied as you'd... More

An easy dinner stop after a long drive to Blowing Rock. Nice and comfortable interior with classic pub selections including Sheperds Pie. Staff was accommodating and nice.

We went up for lunch and walked out full and satisfied. Appetizers were yummy. We had Scottish eggs and the Mac and cheese bites. The small fish and chips was more than I could eat. I can't imagine getting a large. We will go back! Lots to different beers to choose from, too. Friendly staff and very clean.

I had the fish and chips with side of cole slaw, it was good, the fish was beer battered and, obviously, greasy (no way around that),but the fish was very good as were the potatoes and slaw. Would eat there again.

Strolling through town we stopped for lunch. The food was prepared as requested. No gluten free menu but gluten free bread was available and I throughly enjoyed the Pub Burger.

The service was excellent and the food was cooked the way we ask and was very good. We have also eaten at the same restaurant in Charleston and had the same great experience. We recommend everyone to try it.

We usually eat here at least once while we visit Blowing Rock on our annual visits. The sandwiches are excellent, service is great and prices reasonable. Love sitting outside in the courtyard. Definitely recommend eating here.
