We couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Michael, our waiter was so helpful in our food choices and allowing us to leisurely take our time as it was a special night for the two of us. We will definitely return to The Best Cellar should we be in the area again. It's worth the trip.

We read reviews for many places in town and many seemed to be almost the same. This one stood out from the rest and we were glad that we tried it. Our waitress, Corey, also made the experience great. She know the menu and helped us select the best options given what we were looking for. We had a nice... More

We have dined at the Best Cellar a number of times in past years and had very enjoyable meals. Our meal this time was good, but probably over-priced. There are many good places to dine in Blowing Rock and this is one. However, there are others just as good but more reasonably priced.

I remember this when it was truly excellent with an exciting menu and excellent food. Since moving to this location, the food is very ordinary and only average. Good thing is that there are other local restaurants that have taken over its previous status

Great menu options. The specials are truly special. Outdoor and indoor seating areas. Great service Here is a sample of what we ordered and the costs Diner One - Granny Martini (Stoli vodka, sour apple schnapps, pineapple juice), Caprese pizza (crunchy and flavorful), beef shortribs (so tender it falls apart in your mouth) with potatoes, baked acorn squash (this is... I have dined at this restaurant several times and have always had really good food and service. A group of us dined here last night in the Cellar and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our waiter, Gabriel, was attentive and friendly. We had one small issue and Gabriel took care of it right way. Although it has been several years since... More

We have been going to Best Cellar for several years. We have been very pleased each time we visit - at least since they moved into the Inn at Ragged Gardens. I have to admit that at their old location, we had three consecutive bad experiences and swore we would never go back! When they were forced to move, we... More

Outrageous prices and poor quality. My wife's duck was dry and over done, my short ribs reminded of the slop I was served in the army. I will avoid these highly touted places as I am often disappointed, Well, at least I didn't need Ex-Lax, I barely made it out the door! ( Blue Cheese dressing anyone?)

One of our favorite high end restaurants for romantic night out. You're never rushed and are presented with great appetizers and entrees. Very formal with reservations required. Pricey but worth it.
