Great Atmosphere, Eclectic Food

Such a cute atmosphere and the wait staff is incredibly nice. It is actually a brewery with an impressive list of its own brew, maybe around 10 choices. The menu is diverse enough for everyone to find something they'll like, although none of the appetizers or entrees are gluten free. The Kale salad... read more

Beautiful indoor restaurant w/ white linen tablecloths. We chose to eat outside since it was warm, but windy. A la carte bruch, but good. Certainly look forward to a return visit.

With 4 friends on a day sightseeing and came across this marvelous restaurant just off the main street of this "resorty" community. What a treat! Excellent service, excellent food and so worth the stop! Whoever wrote the review that said McDonalds was better, probably is used to eating at McDonalds...when they can afford it! REALLY??? My husband and I always enjoy visiting Blowing Rock, especially in the fall and we were happy to see that the Blowing Rock Grille was reopened. We were especially impressed to find out that a Le Cordon Bleu trained Chef was cooking there this fall, so we were excited to try this restaurant again. We had heard the chef was... More

Made it back to Blowing Rock for the third time this year and got to enjoy a savory dinner and relaxing evening at the Blowing Rock Grille. They've been missed. I took the server's recommendation for the special which was a wonderful chicken dish with an unusual and wonderful vegetable bread pudding (plus the best baked potato I've ever had... More

The staff was unfriendly, snobbish, the food was ?????? It's difficult to find the words, I would have preferred Mcdonalds, and I don't even like Mcdonalds. The prices were outrageous. Enough said!

We were surprised when we walked in the nice establishment that we didn't feel welcomed. Our server had a terrible personality. We dine a great deal in nice establishments and we felt like we were not welcomed. When I asked the server what the vegatables of the day were she told me they were listed on the menu. When I... This little restaurant is off the beaten path and we were lucky to have found it. You can dine in or outside on the patio which is what we did. The place is so cute and cozy. You just want to sit and relax over your meal. They have quiche, sandwiches, veggie plates, and also brunch on Sunday. Our sandwiches... More

While everyone was doing the Craggy Gardens wine and music, we walked right in at the Grille and had a wonderful white tablecloth meal. The veggie meal was delightful and the bonein chicken breast was excellent. Enjoyed the server who is getting another degree at App St. Disappointed Coach Don Shula and his beautiful lady friend were not there this... More

Had 8:30 dinner reservation on a beautiful late summer evening. Arrived on time and were seated promptly after confusion about our reservation (the place was less than half full). Service was good, food was fine but when we asked for after dinner coffee at 9:30 we were told it was not available because kitchen staff was done and were cleaning... More

In response to the confusion on your reservation, we were full at 7pm with no tables available. When the host stepped away someone looked at the reservation sheet and took your name. I apologize about your coffee, the kitchen never makes coffee. Waitstaff makes the coffee and are instructed to do so no matter what time( it only takes 2... More
