This restaurant is consistently good with an interesting and diverse menu. The service is well trained on their food and wine selections. I've been there more than 10 times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Make reservations though- it can be quite crowded during the tourist season.

Be careful if you use your GPS to find this restaurant- there is a "Wonderland Lane" and "Wonderland Drive"- the GPS took us to "drive" which is on the other side of the downtown in Blowing Rock. Check their website for better directions to the restaurant or call them to get the correct location. Once we found the restaurant, we... More

Husband and I actually made reservations at this restaurant for 2 nights during our 3-night stay in Blowing Rock because we had dined here before and had delicious personal-sized pizza. Once again, we ordered the pizza, salad & had beer. The salads and the beer were good, but sadly, the pizza crust was not seasoned well and doughy. Service was... More

Seriously. Wife, son and I went for an early lunch on a Thursday. I believe we arrived about 11:45, right behind two senior citizen ladies, who we allowed through the front door ahead of us. The greeter asked them if they had a reservation, they said "No" but there were dozens of empty tables, and they were immediately seated at... More

We eat here once or twice a month. The food is consistently good. Specialty pizzas are our current favorite. We much prefer eating in the bar area as the service from the bar is faster and seems more consistent courteous

The service was great, the food was very good (my daughters loved the figs and cheese (2) appetizers. Our table was on the porch next to the open windows -- it was the perfect temperature and the noise level from other diners was almost non-existent. It was a delightful experience for all. I am picky when I eat out and... More

Great! Don't miss the prosciutto wrap figs. We had this several years ago and it brought us back. We have duplicated it at home, guessing quite well. However, now have honed the flavors by returning to the home office of the best appetizer ever. Colorful, flavorful, great blend of flavors. Cuban crepe, flat bread w/ salad. Cuban crepe was most... My husband and I had dinner at the bar in Bistro Roca. This was our second time to dine here. The bartender was extremely professional and friendly despite being extremely busy. It was obvious that he loves his job. The wood fired pizza was delicious. Love the photos of the dogs.

We stopped at Bistro Roca en route to a vacation rental house in Linville Falls for lunch on a Friday. We had a reservation for 1 pm but arrived very early, but we were still seated immediately and offered a choice of a booth or a table on the enclosed porch. It was not very busy, but that may have...
