We stayed for a long weekend in Blowing Rock and we were looking for local, upscale, delicious food. We stumbled upon this little bistro thanks to TripAdvisor. We ate there twice, once for dinner and a second time at lunch. Dinner was great! My husband and I ate the flatbreads for dinner because we weren't craving a heavy meal. He... More

We visited on Feb. 12th at lunch time. I had the soup of the day, a leak soup and my husband had the "rib eye" luncheon special. His was served on top of mashed potatoes and garnished with onion rings. He had a glass of tea. After lunch I had an IRISH coffee (Irish whiskey). The atmosphere was perfect for... More

This restaurant is off of main street and a little hard to find. We had the figs for appetizer and they were great. My husband had the lambchop and I had the Salmon. Both entrees were delicious and filling.

Had lunch on Valentines Day with my family. There were seven of us and we had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. Restaurant was very crowded but the service was perfect, very attentive but not bothersome. Food was amazing. Everyone we tried from the mac and cheese to the fried chicken salad was perfect. I had the Chipotle Hamburger... More

The restaurant came highly recommended. The fig appetizer was delicious. The entrees were good. If you are looking for above average and a change of menu, this is the place to come to.

We grabbed lunch here on a ski weekend. Food was good although a little slow, especially with four kids in tow. That being said, they had a magician walking around entertaining tables and this was priceless. He was really talented and saved us by keeping the kids entertained. I have never seen such a great idea in a restaurant. We... More

This is our favorite restaurant for dinner. Every trip we make to Blowing Rock one of the evening dinners is always here at Bistro Roca. They have a great menu and always have daily specials from the chef. The food is very well prepared and always good.

This restaurant was recommended to us so we had to try it out. The place was packed, but luckily two seats were available at the bar. Benny, our bar tender was excellent. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere lovely.
