My husband and I were fortunate enough to dine out on the deck at Canyons with the incredible view. The layers of mountains were breathtaking! That said, the inside of the place gives me the creeps. I went to the restroom and looked over the place, and it looked like someone's stale old basement. I was not there long enough... More

Ordered Canyon Burger with aged beef. Fabulous taste. Terrific cream of mushroom soup and local IPA beer. We will return to the friendly staff.

Inside decorated in 1960's! The carpet was matted down with grease from the 70's! Men's room door has a big hole in it where someone punched it! The food was ok but nothing special!

We enjoyed our lunch there. We found this place by driving past it and decided to give it a go. We sat on the deck and just enjoyed the view. I had the burger which was decent and my husband had the chicken quesadilla which he enjoyed. Service was great.

During a day trip to Blowing Rock we stopped here for a late bite to eat. We were seated out on the deck and the view was wonderful. We had the chips & salsa for an appetizer. The salsa was really good, I believe it's made fresh at the restaurant. Also, enjoyed the fish & chips and the chicken fingers.

My wife and I eat at Canyons at least once a week for lunch, and it is always excellent! We recently had house guests and decided to go to Canyons for dinner. Three of us had trout and my wife had the salmon, and they were all cooked to perfection.. We all had the vegetable medley, which is always outstanding.... More

OK, be warned, the decor is dated, but don't let that sway you. The views are fantastic, patio seating is available fcfs. The wait staff are very attentive and will check in on you even if you're not their table. The food is wide ranging in offerings, well prepared, and reasonably priced. We had a standard entry - burger -... More

food was OK at best. the building was awful, old dingy, floor dangerous for disable or elderly. where our table was located all we could smell was food cooking and what smelled like mildew coming from a stairwell. our server apologized for being tipsy she said she was called in on the day off the proceeded to flirt with my... If you are looking for a great, very casual brunch in Blowing Rock this is your restaurant! There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place. Come as you are and expect to wait! That is because everyone else wants to dine here too and enjoy the incredible views! It is worth it! The service is good...can be a little slow... More

Canyons is a great place to have a bite to eat in the Blowing Rock area. While the building is indeed a little dated, we love to sit on the patio and enjoy a nice dinner while watching the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Sunsets here are amazing and are a regular for us at Canyons while we are in the... More
