We were visiting family and went out for lunch. They took us to Canyons, so we could enjoy the mountains, from the deck. Too cloudy and rainy to see anything, so we ate inside. I ordered fish and chips. The meal was great, told owner that my fish place on the ocean, would have been proud to serve the food.... More

We watched the clouds and storms develop over the mountains and valleys with a view from this restaurant that was at least 20-30 miles. The service was good, the food we ordered just average, and the view spectacular. We talked with friendly locals at neighboring tables that enjoy having a drink while enjoying the view. We were able to finish... More

View of mountains from outside deck is good, service good, Mexican menu especially good; price is very reasonable. Crowded parking area.

We had a party of 10 and were quickly seated at a busy lunch hour. The waitress promptly took our drink orders then began filling our food orders. Children were entertained by looking at the view of the mountains. Adults caught up on past activities. Food was delicious along with friendly service. We try to return every time we are... More

Went to this place after discovering that our dinner was still frozen, and it was too late to thaw and cook it. Had a coupon to use at Canyons, so drove there. We have been there before, and always had fun! Tonight was great, sweet waitress, and my salmon was cooked to order. Paul had chicken, and the serving was... More

Dropped into this place for dinner when I was staying around the corner at the Green Park Inn. Great Beer, best ribs I have ever tasted and tried hush-puppies for the first time. Also came back for their Sunday Jazz brunch - excellent eggs benedict - with jalapeno.

For such a prime spot in Blowing Rick overlooking a gorgeous view, this restaurant was a big disappointment. Carpet inside was old and worn, and chairs, tables, inside decor tired and outdated. I got the spinach artichoke dip. The cheese on top was hard and congealed, the chips cold and lacking any flavor. My husband got the chicken soft tacos,... More

I was recently in North Carolina and went to dinner at Canyons in Blowing Rock near Grandfather Mountain. The sunset views of the Blue Ridge Mountains went on forever! Just breathtaking! Food was really good and they had several Gluten-Free options to choose from. Also a great local wine, wish I could buy it back home! Apparently this location I... More

My husband and I were fortunate enough to dine out on the deck at Canyons with the incredible view. The layers of mountains were breathtaking! That said, the inside of the place gives me the creeps. I went to the restroom and looked over the place, and it looked like someone's stale old basement. I was not there long enough... More

Ordered Canyon Burger with aged beef. Fabulous taste. Terrific cream of mushroom soup and local IPA beer. We will return to the friendly staff.
