Went for supper at dark so can't speak for the view. There wasn't a wait. The service was pretty good. The place is rather old and could use a upgrade. Restrooms were not too good. Food was average. I had the ribeye. Overall okay. Wouldn't be my first choice of returning but would eat there again.

Great food and staff. Excellent local beers. The best place in Blowing Rock for a drink or dinner during sunset.

The Canyons has been a staple in Blowing Rock for many years. It's got a stellar view and a long loyal following. It's an easy restaurant for families and weary travelers. The these days food is mediocre and the decor needs serious cleaning and updating. It looks, tastes, smells and feels like it's stuck in the 1970's. Restaurants that don't... More

I had a wonderful vegie burger and a bowl of sweet potato soup. Both were absolutely delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better lunch with a fantastic view of fall leaves. Excellent service, in a cozy restaurant.

Canyons is a Blowing Rock favorite for many years. The views cannot be beaten ( be there at sunset) clear days are best of course. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food is good consistently and they have a nice bar. The place is busy most of the time so don't be in a hurry if you go. Chef John... More

A co-worker of mine recommended we eat at Canyons, if for nothing else she said the view was awesome. We went while it was snowing, so we didn't get the view! But the food was great. I highly recommend anything that comes with the salsa! The burgers were great (cooked to order) and there is even a "gluten free" option... More

We've always thought of Canyons as a real treat for our special occasionsbecause the view is fantastic, and the food and service have always been great, so we chose to celebrate our first wedding anniversary there on Saturday night. I also appreciate their food-consciousness, using fresh and organic foods. However, this trip, everything about the evening was horribly disappointing. 1.... More

Our first time to eat at Canyons and we ate outside even though it was quite chilly. The clouds were hovering over the mountains. The food was very good and our server was very knowledgeable.

We always try to stop in at Canyons while we visit this area. If the weather complies, go out and eat on the terrace. Grilled burgers are yummy and the restaurant Is laid back. Great views and staff are all friendly & motivated.
