Ive been here before and really enjoyed the wings years ago. Came back again last week and was sorely disappointed. It was about 2 in the afternoon and I ordered a BBQ Plate. The sides were decent but here's the problem...the BBQ had the taste and texture of BBQ reheated in a microwave. The beans and corn were good but... More

Woodlands was one of the restaurants recommended by our hotel staff. The food was good and so was the service. Little bit of a wait but worth it!

I have always been happy with their food - I always bring visiting guests there as it is a great place to let folks try some good barbecue. I have noticed that over the years, the service has decreased in acceptability. When you walk in now, theyALWAYS want you to sit downstairs. Avoid that. It is not a great dining... More

The meats were great but their sides (other than the french fries) were horrid. The cornbread fell to pieces and was dry, the coleslaw had way too much ketchup in it. However, if you stick to the meats, it's worth it.

2nd visit to this diner. Always a crowd but have been seated right away. The food is very good and plentiful.

When we were here, they had three folks pickin' while we had dinner. We enjoyed that very much. The food was good, nothing to rave about, but it was fine. The staff was nice and friendly, and having the live mountain music was nice too.

Service was horrible and the food was ok, not worth the wait downstairs on uncomfortable seats! I would not bother to visit, when I complained they had every excuse in the world. Too bad the person in charge was behind the register and not on the floor to supervise the service.

Was there a month ago, and was not good. Have lived in the area for 26 yrs. When 1 st here, thought was second only to Lexington. Over the last 5 yrs, has gotten progressively poorer. After my last meal there a month ago, said never more...dry, tough, greasy, and a lot of gristle. After seeing the subsequebpnt reviews, thought... More

We had a big group and sampled lots of the menu. The BBQ'd Ribs, chicken, pork and beef were good, and portions were generous. The appetizers we tried - nachos and mozzarella sticks - were not good at all. The nachos were just stale chips with a velveeta-like sauce. The side dishes were just ok. The atmosphere is a mixed... Had a great meal at Woodlands and very good service too. Baby back rib meat practically melted off the bone! The rib and chicken combo comes with 3 sides and cornbread and is a huge meal for the money.
