Woodlands is a busy, famiiy-style establishment....rows of picnic benches in a very rustic atmosphere. The service is OK and the food came out in a timely manner. The barbecue had a nice smoky flavor and everyone at our table enjoyed the baby back ribs, pulled pork and the sides. The food is plentiful and a bargain and it tasted good.... More

We went on a Saturday night during the dinner rush. We had to wait about 45 minutes but it was worth it. The barbecue platters have a choice of meat with 2 veggies and cornbread. The portions were very large and very tasty. It is a little warm in the downstairs dining room in the summer so try for seating... More

Woodlands BBQ is a great place to drink a beer and have dinner or lunch with family or friends. If your in Blowing Rock this is a good place to have BBQ. The food is good and you will get plenty to eat.

I was staying next door to the Woodlands& had to revisit. It had been years. The atmosphere is fun. The beer is cold. I don't eat meat so my choices were limited but I had a good time.

I enjoyed my BBQ chicken dinner. It was only $10 with three sides and bread. The fried okra and the BBQ slaw was good. It isn't the best BBQ I have ever had but I don't like chains and this is a nice alternative.

The service was good and the atmosphere was cute. The BBQ was ok but not the best. The beef was chopped as was the pork. The sweet tea was a bit weak and the BBQ slaw was mushy. The regular slaw and baked beans were good and the jalapeño cornbread was great!

Terrible, pathetically small baby back ribs, the worst Collard Greens I have ever had, and store bought slaw and baked beans. Had to ask the waitress to ask the kitchen staff to turn down the music they were blasting. Waitress gave good service, however. Don't waste your money here!

Had half rack baby back ribs with corn, beans, BBQ slaw and mild cornbread. Best part was the cornbread. Half rack must have come from a newborn piglet. Corn was like rubber. Will never eat here again - find a different BBQ place.

My husband, 2 yr. old son and I had a nice meal here. The 'meats' were spectacular -- the BBQ beef and pork were great, and their wings were SPECTACULAR, as was the sweet tea. But roll the dice and randomly pick a side dish, because you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good side dish. The fried okra... More

We visit from hickory on a regular visit to eat here. They have great food and the service is great. Live music is a plus and the prices are fair.
