somewhat of a disappointment

We have eaten at Twigs in the past because their crab cakes are excellent. We ate there recently, and although my crab cake dinner was fine, my husband's pasta dish tasted peculiar. I offered to exchange with him, but I didn't like the taste either. We aren't fussy diners, but in this case, we... read more

This restaurant is wonderful. The food was so good we went back three nights in a row! The bar food is just as good as the restaurant. Staff are efficient and courteous. Live music on the weekends. Lots of fun.

Three of us ate there and loved everything we had. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere is spectacular. Also, I left my credit card and got in touch with them the next day, and they had it, cut it up for me, no problem.

Food was absolutely wonderful and this would be the perfect place for a very fancy, romantic night out. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that and brought our 7 month old baby. Even though she was great and slept the whole time, we deinitley felt that we were recieving some strange looks from other diners and staff for bringing a baby... Atmosphere... More

We have frequented Twigs several times over the past few years and have always enjoyed our times in this little restaurant. This past Sunday evening, I thoroughly enjoyed the veal liver and my husband's trout was delicious. Our server was very gracious and attentive. Even though we enjoyed our evening, I do wish the owners would consider a bit of... More

We went to dinner at Twigs on a recent visit to Blowing Rock and one of the reasons we picked it was it had Veal Liver on the menu. I know most people wouldn't pick a restaurant based on that menu item but we did! The restaurant was quaint and the service was excellent. Our meal was very good. We... More

we've been to Twigs numerous times over the years when visiting Boone and it is still an enjoyable place to have dinner!! The service was quite good and our entrees (pecan crusted trout and a cowboy cut ribeye chef special) were delicious. I love the side dishes that are paired with entrees too. We were too full for dessert!

Sautee'd local trout was one of the best things I've had in many months. Very accommodating to our kids (pre-teen). 4 of us had appetizers, drinks, and entrees (2 kids entrees) for just over $100 with tip. Servers were friendly and helpful. Overall a great night.

When you pull in the parking area it is not impressive but the inside is quaint and a wonderful experience. The food was terrific, service was great and after our dinner the bar had a wonderful local band and a great atmosphere for drinks. A very enjoyable experience.

We didn't eat at the restaurant but had drinks in the bar and listened to a live band. Very cozy setting, with comfortable chairs to relax and enjoy. Drinks were great, reasonably priced, and service was friendly. Really a nice nite out.
