We started with fried oysters in a lobster cream sauce. The oysters were perfectly cooked with a crunchy cornmeal dusting and the sauce was decadent. My husband enjoyed the fresh trout with a traditional preparation and I loved the crispy roast chicken with a boursin artichoke stuffing. The crispy roasted Brussels sprouts were wonderful. We had a thoroughly wonderful dinner... More

Visited Twigs as part of a networking dinner. We sat in a perfect little room, without noise and distractions. The craft beer list was top notch and everyone was pleased with the house wine. I had the Fish special on cheese grits with asparagus. It was perfect and delicious!! Recommend Twigs for a relaxing meal at a slow pace.

I have lost track of the times we have dined at Twigs. We are taken to the moon and back every time. The food is excellent and the service is world class. I had steak that was cooked to perfection. If you make a trip to Blowing Rock, I would recommend a visit. You won't walk away hungry.

Was in Blowing Rock for a few days and several people told us we had to try Twiggs. We had a pretty large lunch, so we were looking for something kind of light for dinner so we dropped by without a reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was top notch and made a couple of recommendations, including the oyster... More

We have eaten at Twigs in the past because their crab cakes are excellent. We ate there recently, and although my crab cake dinner was fine, my husband's pasta dish tasted peculiar. I offered to exchange with him, but I didn't like the taste either. We aren't fussy diners, but in this case, we did tell our waitress who brought... More

This restaurant is wonderful. The food was so good we went back three nights in a row! The bar food is just as good as the restaurant. Staff are efficient and courteous. Live music on the weekends. Lots of fun.

Three of us ate there and loved everything we had. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere is spectacular. Also, I left my credit card and got in touch with them the next day, and they had it, cut it up for me, no problem.

Food was absolutely wonderful and this would be the perfect place for a very fancy, romantic night out. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that and brought our 7 month old baby. Even though she was great and slept the whole time, we deinitley felt that we were recieving some strange looks from other diners and staff for bringing a baby... Atmosphere... More

We have frequented Twigs several times over the past few years and have always enjoyed our times in this little restaurant. This past Sunday evening, I thoroughly enjoyed the veal liver and my husband's trout was delicious. Our server was very gracious and attentive. Even though we enjoyed our evening, I do wish the owners would consider a bit of... More
