Party of 4 easily accommodated by this local favorite recently remodeled. Menu is diverse and we enjoyed thoroughly our "Foggy Rock Philly" Steak sandwich, Chicken Philly, Turkey Cranberry and site specialty "Notorious PIG" (pork sandwich). Great selection of beers and wines and lovely homemade tea. Service was great and prompt and you never feel rushed.

Go ahead and try Foggy Rock, you will surely enjoy it. There is variety and reasonable prices throughout the menu. The decor has been updated this year and the ambience lends itself to conversation & relaxation. Oh one more thing, they have a better than average beer selection.

My husband and I were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and needed to stop for lunch. We were near Blowing Rock/Boone and chose Blowing Rock since it was closer to the Parkway. We had no clue where to eat in Blowing Rock, so we checked our tripadvisor app and chose Foggy Rock. What a fabulous choice it turned out to... More

The service was a on the slow side, it took 25 minutes to get beverages. Waitress wasn't overly friendly. The food was good, but not hot, like maybe it set in the kitchen waiting.

Stopped here around 4:30 on a Thursday and were seated immediately. We chose to sit in the Pub and watch some sports while we ate, but there was plenty of seating available in the dining room. Prices were very reasonable for what we got. Homemade chips came with my blackened chicken BLT. My grandson ordered a Caesar salad with chicken... More

We stopped at Foggy Rock for lunch on our way to see The Blowing Rock. I had the Sunshine Salad - very tasty chicken salad with cranberries, craisins, slivered almonds on a bed of field greens. Also had sliced apples and oranges all drizzled with balsamic citrus vinaigrette. It was delicious.

This is a cozy, casual, rustic pub with a great menu, very good food & service. My wife, who loves eggplant dishes, said the eggplant florentine was the best she's had. I had the cricket burger, which was also excellent. Take the family or go as a couple & enjoy a unique menu at a fair price...

We have eaten here several times when we have traveled to Blowing Rock. Food is always good. They don't have the same fare on the menu as most trendy restaurants do these days. A couple of us got the Fried Green Tomato w/pimento cheese Sliders. We got the added real bacon chips. The whole meal was excellent along with their... More
