Sunday breakfast in a charming spot - make a reservation

This is one of Blowing Rock's favorite restaurant, based on the number of people who were there this past Sunday. They have a terrific patio for outdoor dining on good days and cute tucked away corners inside the house. Food was really good, service really fast and the prices reasonable. Would... read more

My husband and had a late breakfast here. We both ordered an omelet. It had almost no egg flavor plus it was a pale yellow. I hate to think it but I believe they used powdered eggs....yuk! There was plenty of filling, just no flavor. I ask the waitress if they had anything other than strawberry preserves and she didn't... More

Asked for a recommendation from a local and they suggested this place. Down an obscure path resides great food and great atmosphere.

Charming little place down an alley situated in a garden setting with outdoor tables and a small room inside and more seating upstairs. The waitress was wonderful asked before we needed more coffee or hot water for tea. Had a wonderful omelet with potatoes and their bread. My fiance had the eggs benedict and said it was delicious, he ate... More

Village Cafe has "knocked my socks off!" Thanks fellow Trip Advisors for steering us here for Tuesday 1pm lunch in June! The special was Apricot & Chicken Salad. Soups were (4) for the day! My spouse had Cuban Black Bean & it was remarkable. Our waiter kindly checked about my egg allergy. My loss, my gain! Yes, that dish had... More

Our innkeeper recommended Annie's place. Loved being able to eat outdoors in the courtyard and the food was great!

This excellently run place is a neighborhood treasure. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The owners, Annie and her husband Andy (the chef) keep the quality of the food and service to the highest standards. In pleasant weather the garden is a delightful place to eat. The brunch is outstanding. The Village Cafe is very popular, so reservations are... More

Really enjoyed this place. The food and service were excellent. I got the French toast and rosemary ham and I ate everything. Husband had an omelette and potatoes. Nothing left on his plate either.
