We were there for brunch and sat outside in the lovely garden area. The food is delicious and the service is great. Make reservations because it is quite popular.

Finding the Village Cafe was somewhat challenging, but well worth the time. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was great! The mushroom soup and the turkey/ Brie sandwich were delicious. Enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this restaurant.

Discovering this great place was a gift -- away from the overcrowded streets and impossible to find parking. Tucked behind the busy mains street businesses, this café is more than special. From the welcome by staff, friendly capable service, delicious food, and lovely décor all made for a wonderful outing. The crepes were perfect. Salads are a delight. Our dessert,... More

Ideally located in downtown Blowing Rock. Entry is through a garden walk. A wonderful selection of breakfast and luncheon items. Eight in our party and all were extremely impressed!

Homemade breads, killer omelets, smoked sausage in a very old place 1/2 a block off the main drag. Co-owner Annie is the host. She runs a "tight ship". Wait staff are charming and efficient. I had the smoked turkey on wheat bun and a side of smoked sausage .. is is NC after all! The menu is extensive .. bring... More

Delicious, quaint, reasonable and thoughtfully run. Located right off Main Street in a hidden cove just behind a building, the Village Cafe is only open for the summer and only for breakfast and lunch. Perfect spot for a nicer Sunday brunch...

In an area surrounded by excellence you would think it might be hard to find a spot which stands out above the rest. We did, it does and I'm not going to spoil it by saying anymore about it. Utopian experience!

I had the French Toast, and my wife had the Montrachet Eggs Florentine. Both meals were outstanding. The coffee was great, and the servers never let it get to empty. Lastly the atmosphere is amazing!! A must try if you are in Blowing Rock!

We thought the outdoor setting was very nice. The food was average and a little above normal in price. Also, the staff seemed unsure of where to seat us and it made us feel uncomfortable while we waited for them to decide. Probably wouldn't return. Sorry.
