Nice cafe

I really enjoy my breakfast here, a quiet path leading to a garden where the cafe located, love this place!

It's down a beautiful little path in downtown Blowing Rock. Great atmosphere and great service. Best Belgian waffles ever, with fresh fruit and pecans.

We had always seen the sign for Village Cafe on the street & thought we'd visit someday, but had never gotten around to it... until now. Went to Village Café for lunch on a Tuesday in October. We were surprised to find it was a quaint old house down a lovely path between the Main Street buildings. It was packed... More

We had a great breakfast to conclude our week in the mountains. Really nice garden setting if the weather is good. Otherwise seating in the quaint house café. Good food and good service. Go early for breakfast or have reservation

We found this cafe as we were browsing the Blowing Rocks shopping area on a wintry and damp Saturday afternoon. It was like a haven - warm inside with tables and chairs. The coffee was "okay", the food quite good. The staff were very busy but unfortunately they were lacking in their clearing of tables as many had empty, used... More

The chicken sandwiches we ordered were excellent with hot cheese, mushrooms, etc. The potato salad side was not desirable. We chose to eat indoors; after doing so wished we had opted for the outdoor setting. We were near the bathroom and kitchen which distracted from our enjoyment.

This place is on the main street but down a little ally. It is not only adorable but the food is great too. Only serves breakfast and lunch FYI.

We drove up to Blowing Rock last week to see the leaves, do a little shopping and eat lunch at the Village Cafe. The historic house is charming, the food consistently excellent and the service is always good. I love especially eating on the beautiful patio but it was a little chilly so we ate upstairs. Definitely make reservations especially... More

This is such a lovely place! Quaint atmosphere inside and lovely gardens outside. We ate breakfast here on the upper level near a fireplace and had a wonderful hearty and tasty meal before heading back out onto the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also ordered sandwiches to take with us for the day so we could have a picnic on the... More
