Food, service, and patio are average. Indoor dining is not especially appealing. Difficult access to restrooms.

The service is always perfect, food is alway presented beautiful and the over all experience is special. This is not your country breakfast kind of place, which I do like but a restaurant to make any day special with a breakfast or lunch at the Village Cafe.

Located in a nice garden area down the stairs and along a path leading off of main street in the heart of Blowing Rock, the Village Cafe is an interesting spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu includes tempting breakfast dishes as well and several entrees as well as several salads and sandwiches for lunch. Service is usually good although... More

We have been going to the Village Cafe for breakfast for several years and we go every morning that we are in Blowing Rock. There is no better place to have breakfast then the Village Inn. Annie is an awesome host and the breakfast is yummy! Can't wait to return next year. Thanks Annie for having such a wonderful place... More

Our experience at the Cafe was positive. We made reservation by phone at 8 a.m. for a 12:30 lunch. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away. We were seated upstairs in a cozy room of the very old house. The charm of the old building was captivating. The waitress was very bubbly and did a good job.... More

I absolutely loved this place! It has everything: A Charming Atmosphere, Excellent Food & Service as well as Reasonable Prices. The servers were so polite and everything came out in a timely manner. We had the brunch special which was a Crab cake and poached egg on an english muffin. Then a side of french toast. Everything was delicious. Being... More

It's fun dining in the charming historic Village Cafe right off Main St. The atmosphere has character and the food is delicious served with homespun goodness. We enjoyed a delicious brunch with eggs Benedict and yummy deserts!

I had been to Village Cafe twice before but it had been several years since my last visit. I had always been in the summer and had eaten outside on their wonderful patio but ate inside of the restaurant this time. Enjoyed the fire in the fireplace on an unusually cold and snowy day in November and the quaint atmosphere.... More

Second time trying this place and it stays busy...last time we left wait was too long.. So call ahead. However, we were lucky enough that they found us a table. Food was excellent as well as the service... Tomato soup with Gouda is a must try!!! Their crapes were perfect! Worth the wait... It's setting is an old old home... More
