Had a fantastic rehearsal dinner last week at the Red Rocker Inn Restaurant! The food was great, and the desserts "over the top." Great service from the staff. I'm going back there again soon! Ray

While visiting relatives in Black Mountain, we ate a late dinner here during a weekday night. I found the service to be excellent. Menu selections had something for everyone with some off menu specials which were brought to our attention by the waiter. The selections for our party included Trout, the nightly special of Salmon and my selection of stuffed... More

Everything you see on the menu is outstanding. It is homemade and is just soooo very good. Do not even try to find another place to eat - the Red Rocker Inn Restaurant is the place !!!!

We were overnight guests at he Red Rocker B&B and decided to eat in the restaurant on the premises. It was a delightful enclosed porch with large windows overlooking wonderfully lush vegetation. The restaurant was carpeted and there were white tablecloths which were sound absorbing. Because of the quiet diners all spoke in soft tones. It was a delightful change... More

We visited the Red Rocker Inn for Dinner on a Wed. Night. It was crowded but we got seated right away. We chose to share the special which was a stuffed filet. It was cooked to perfection and a generous portion to share. The biscuits and homemade apple and pumpkin butter were delicious. If you haven't been here to try... More

Had dinner with a family member who lives in the area. Since we arrived around 5 which is the time they open for dinner, we were greeted promptly...but after ordering dinner, and a few other guest arrived, we had to wave our waiter down to get any service. For the food....average. the crab cakes were not very good...not lump crab... More

We recently ate dinner in this quaint little bed & breakfast, and it wasn't for the first time! The meal begins with homemade "mouth melting" biscuits and homemade apple butter. I had the crab cakes, smashed potatoes, and roasted broccoli, and I cleaned my plate!! Crab cakes were plump and so full of flavor! My husband had the special that... More

We love everything about the Red Rocker, beginning with waiting for our friends sitting on the red rockers to the exquisite desserts. Salad de jour is just the right size with dinner and always interesting. Crab cakes are the best you will find and the horseradish remoulade is terrific. Hummingbird cake is worth saving room for and all desserts are... More

Dined at the Red Rocker Inn Restaurant during a recent stay at the inn and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! They serve complimentary homemade buttermilk biscuits with homemade apple butter and trust me, they are G-O-O-D!!!! While we didn't try any of the desserts (we were stuffed!), they looked absolutely divine as... More
