Quiet Dinner, Lovely Inn!

Christmas week dinner at Red Rocker. Food was piping hot and tasty! Luscious dessert and good coffee. A most cozy place to visit and eat in Black Mountain...don't miss this one!

The title says it all really. Is a neat old setting and I'm glad we tried it. I just thought I had a better meal at another establishment in town The pork chop I had was well seasoned and prepared, but nothing special. Another in the party had the Red Snapper and found it better, but not outstanding. If you... More

My husband and I visited Red Rocker in the fall during leaf watching season...had such an excellent dinner we booked the inn for our anniversary weekend just so we could get the full experience. The food is flavorful, creative southern. Save room for dessert. This is a top dining destination in Western NC for good reason!

The service was wonderful and staff was amazing. We had the 12 ounce ribeye, WOW, it was so delicious! I was so shocked that I didn't even want to use my A1 sauce because the taste of the ribeye was just too good. We had such a wonderful time and loved it.

I was there with some family for a reunion and the service was excellent. I had some ribs and they were delicious. If you are a couple wanting to get away for the weekend and visit Black Mountain this would be the place to go and relax.

Have visited at least yearly, unfortunately the best things were desert and our waitress. When you spend that amount of money you expect excellence. It did not help that there were some very loud dining guests.

You got to eat at this family owned restaurant. I stayed all night too and had the trout one night and pork loin the second night. Both were delicious. But save room for dessert. One night I had the chocolate cake. It was the biggest wedge of cake I have ever been served in a restaurant. I ate the top... More

I had stayed at the B & B before and it is big and charming. The restaurant is one of the best I have ever experienced and very reasonably priced. The food comes mostly from local sources and they have specials each night. My friend is a real carnivore and had a steak. He said that is was the best... More

The Red Rocker Inn serves dinner entrees not only to their guests but also to the general public as well. It is best to make a reservation ahead of time. The night we ate dinner, I had the red snapper with apricot sauce. It was delicious. The owner and his daughter are the chefs that cook the dinners. They will... More
