Second time for us and it was fantastic. Great service and food. We came up for Valentine's day weekend and stayed in the B&B and had dinner in the restaurant. The staff was so knowledgeable and courteous they really made us fell at home. The food was first class and the price was very reasonable.

January 3rd 2014, My wife and I had a rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter in law. The owners Doug and Jenny were very friendly an acommodating. Their goal was to make our dinner perfect for our guests. They did. We had a nice menu of five entrees including a vegetarian option (pot roast and trout were our favorite).... More

We expected much better. The steak was gristly; trout flavorless; greens tough. This was to be a romantic dinner for two, so we didn't welcome a chatty waiter. We won't go back. There are much better restaurants in town.

We came with a large group and the service was wonderful. We had a selection of entrees ánd we all thought the food was great. The apple pie with praline sauce was yummy as was the peanut butter pie with oreo crust. I would definitely return my next trip to the area.

The Red Rocker is a B & B that also is a full service restaurant. Food and atmosphere is wonderful. The deserts, well, you just have to see and experience to believe.

This restaurant came to me highly recommended and I am glad I took them up on it! It was like having a home cooked dinner at a close friend's home. The biscuits, steak, stuffed chicken, and crab cakes were all very good...and the desserts! There is a list as long as your arm to chose from and we all got... More

We live in Black Mountain and ate at the Red Rocker for the first time last night. Everything was outstanding! The fried green tomatoes were crispy and light. I had the ribeye and I would say it ranks right up there as one of my top 3 steaks of all time! Hubby had pot roast and loved the mashed potatoes.... More

Because this restaurant is so highly touted in Trip Advisor, my husband and I made a point to visit the Red Rocker Inn during our stay at a B & B nearby. Maybe with such a big buildup, we were bound to be disappointed, but although there were some high points in the meal, we were not thrilled with our... More

Homey ambience in a bed and breakfast in a nice neighborhood. The service was attentive and friendly. We started out with fried green tomatoes and spinach/artichoke dip. Members of our party had the stuffed chicken, pot roast and almond trout. All were good especially the sides. The desserts options are incredible! Try the Reese's peanut-butter ice cream pie or the... More

EVERYTHING we've ever had there is wonderful! Bumbleberry pie is our favorite dessert! We love their specials, and the biscuits and apple butter, oh my!
