Great food and service.

Ate lunch here twice while we were in Black Mountain. A few more options on the menu would be great, but there was plenty to choose from. The chili was great and so are the burgers.

This is way more than a bar. They did have about 30 beers on tap. The menu selection was very good. Sat at the bar because they were quite busy. Service was very quick and the food was really good too. The live music was a great touch!!

I had a delicious salad with all kinds of wonderful things including chicken without any hormones or antibiotics. Two homemade desserts and great beer. Servers were friendly and energetic

We returned to The Trailhead on our latest visit to Black Mountain. This is a great brewpub with surprising dishes. The local beer selection is great, and the prices are really reasonable. Live entertainment started early enough for us to enjoy with our dinner. Looking forward to going back on our next visit!

Enjoyed a wondeful burger along with a flight of excellent beer! Yeah! Will always keep this place in mind as a stop when we are in the area.

Great selection of craft beers. We ordered the fish tacos and fish and chips and both were good and plentiful. Excellent service and good prices!

One of the few restaurants that gives you a decent pour for your dollar, and really good food to go with it! The service was wonderful as well, Wendell (our waitress) was friendly and had great recommendations. I went with a girlfriend and plan to go back soon with my husband. She has already gone back for the fish tacos... More

I love the Trailhead! It's one of the only places in Black Mountain that you truly can follow your nose to get there. I think most everyone should try a burger first. Just a seriously good burger. The only ding I give them is the tables are a bit small and slide around easy. Also.....don't forget to order Cheerwine to... More

This was our first visit to Trailhead and we loved it! The decor was so cool. I was really impressed with the carvings on the tables. The food was delicious and even the kids cleaned their plates. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend it. Read more about our trip at www.randomfamilyadventures.com

Burgers and beer hit the spot! I had the fish tacos and it was a wonderful late night meal. We enjoyed our visit and the musician was excellent! I felt like I was in Vermont, it should have been snowing! Will be back.
