Good food, great beer selection, close to Asheville

We stopped in here on our way to Asheville. They were very accommodating with the food sensitivities in my family. Our burgers and fish tacos were great. They have several local brews on tap and the bar staff are knowledgable.

This.place is on the main drag in Black Mountain a few short blocks from a meeting I was attending. The eating area includes small and large tables in and outdoors. I sat at the bar to order take out. There are sandwiches, salads and platters including th fish, ground beef, pork chicken and veggie options. I had an ahi tuna... More

My wife and I stopped in Black Mountain after a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our original destination was closed which happened to be a good thing because we were happy to have walked around the corner to find this place. We sat at the bar. The bartender was polite and friendly answering our questions we had about the... More

I liked this place. There was live music, good drinks menu and the food was pretty good. I had the BLT, which was pretty tasty but a little greasy. The band when we were there was great - honky tonk!

You can't just talk about the food in this place. We were really on a journey to see another band and stopped by chance at the Trailhead for a bite to eat. We just happened to come in right before the Wednesday night jam session and decided to stick around. My thoughts were that Jimmy Buffett needs to swing by... More

The food was very good for all 4 in our party. Attentive service and an open warehouse feel in this kind of bohemian atmosphere. Lots of craft brews on tap, lots of nice choices of food, and the wings had a great mild sauce that was excellent.

Ate lunch here twice while we were in Black Mountain. A few more options on the menu would be great, but there was plenty to choose from. The chili was great and so are the burgers.

This is way more than a bar. They did have about 30 beers on tap. The menu selection was very good. Sat at the bar because they were quite busy. Service was very quick and the food was really good too. The live music was a great touch!!

I had a delicious salad with all kinds of wonderful things including chicken without any hormones or antibiotics. Two homemade desserts and great beer. Servers were friendly and energetic
