Just passing thru and had to stop as this is the best pizza ever! We had the olive appetizer and the scarface pizza - charred. Hand tossed crust, fast service and delicious pizza. What more could you ask for?! We don't eat pizza often but we had to stop here on our journey.

Although it's a bit hidden, it's worth the search. Three visits have confirmed that "Fresh" make some of the best pizza in western NC. Love the pottery, but return for the pizza!

My husband and I found this little treasure today and I am so glad we did! We ordered the bruschetta to start, a spinach side salad and a Greek side salad. The salads were abundant to say the least. I loved the ingredients in each of the dishes...very creative, fresh and tasty combinations. My salad had spinach, toasted walnuts, local... More

Finally an excellent neapolitan style pizza near Asheville. We were visiting Black Mountain today and stumbled into this little treasure. Great forno a legna (wood oven) with very adept pizzaioli. Beautiful thin crust expertly cooked. We will definitely make the drive to come back. 5 stars to Mark Tomczak and staff. Grazie da Regina e Valentino

Fantastic pizza made right in a wood fired oven with quality local ingredients. Liked the open kitchen.

This place was a surprise! It looks like a dump from the outside and seating is limited inside. The sign for them is small and we almost missed it; thank goodness for GPS! Even though it was kind of late for lunch on a Wednesday, the place was packed so we stayed. We ordered the olive plate to start and... More

Local eatery with area craft beer. Always our go to place for dinner. Small eating area when outside seating is closed for the winter. Can be crowded on the weekends, but this is an testament to the great pizzas.

My son says the pizzas here are the best in this area. Their sandwiches are super and big enough to share. I love their salads! It's a great lunch spot in Black Mountain.

Their pizzas are truly fresh. Homemade dough, fresh, local toppings and thin crust. The salads are large, but delicious. Usually a crowd, so you need to get there early.

Visited the restaurant as it had been recommended by friends. We ordered the salad and a large pizza as we had our children with us. The salad was sort of what you would expect and the pizza was basically just a pizza. Nothing special compared to other pizza places in the area. If you are hungry for pizza, there are... More
