Everyone said to eat at Louise's and they were right. Don't miss it. Breakfast or Lunch - either will be perfect.. Outdoor eating on the wrap around porch, or outside on the lawn with your pets. Opens at 10:00 on Sunday or we would have have been back for breakfast!

This is a nice little restaurant you can eat inside or on the deck. My wife thought there french toast was great. I thought their biscuits and gravy were okay.

I ate here two mornings during a week long stay. I'll admit I had the french toast both days. One day with bacon, the other day with sausage. I know...walking on the wild side! The french toast was thick bread and very good. Bacon was crispy and excellent. Sausage was good but I liked the bacon better. Coffee is a... More

My husband and I moved to Black Mountain in September of 2013. We have tried almost all of the eateries in town and Louise's is always a favorite. They have veggie sausage, that you can sub for any meat and their food it great. Whenever we have guest visiting from out of town we bring them here for breakfast.

There's so much to love about this place, the old wooden tables and chairs, the wrap around porch, the lovely ladies behind the counter and the general farmhouse feel of the entire place, but my particular favorite is grabbing a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, gooey, some kind of delicious sauce on it, a warm bagel...can't beat it!

Chose to visit Louise's kitchen based on the ratings of a similar travel website. The day we visited they were closing early due to some kitchen remodeling, so I am not sure if the lack of air conditioning was due to that or if that was the norm. Either way, we sat on the wrap around porch which provided a... More

Charming location, love the artwork and set up. One of the best places to get a real home cooked southern breakfast that is not greasy. Eggs cooked to perfection, Homemade jams and jellies. unbelievable bread! We ended up eating here several times.

This old converted farmhouse is a great option for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were fresh and light, not a bit greasy. The other breakfast choices were also delicious. Give it a try, you'll be pleased.

My mother and I go here religiously. Everything they offer is great. From the food to the local coffee. To the great, nice, welcoming, faces that work there. The owner is super good guy. We have eaten at every place in asheville and buncombe county and Louise's is at the top of that list.
