They are adding on a deck so Louise will just get better. The ingredients are very fresh and the combinations are unique. Everyone is very friendly and the kitchen accommodated our needs. Worth the trip in a very cute town.

Great breakfasts and lunches inside or out on the wrap-around porch. Pancakes a must! Good local scene most of the time - meet and greet your neighbors.

Good spot for light lunch or brunch. Soups, salads--all homemade and local ingredients. Porch location is wonderful in the summer.

Based upon some of the reviews seen in TripAdvisor my wife and I had breakfast on Saturday morning at Louise's and after our visit, again on Sunday. Kinda hard to describe, I'd say it's a cross between funky/hippy/earthy and down-home cooking. They do not try to impress with decor or atmosphere. You have to walk through the house-converted restaurant to... More

I come to here for breakfast as much as I can. Food is always amazing. Creative dishes and friendly staff each and every time. Wish they were open for dinner! Worth the wait if there is a line out the door! Great job

Any place that will serve you breakfast all day long is my kind of restaurant. They offer that at Louise's Kitchen as well as a complete lunch menu. My wife, daughter, and I stopped in for lunch this week and enjoyed the whole experience. The food was great. So was the service, and the people couldn't be friendlier. The restaurant... More

Love to eat there, especially out on the porch in good weather. I love the stacked grit cake with sliced tomatoes and siracha/ sour cream sauce! Yum!

My husband and I visited early on a Saturday morning so no standing in line for their delicious fare! This small town local fare menu is always a pleasant experience. Great French Toast and pancakes, and my favorite, the sausage! Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy the "kitcheny" (my own word) atmosphere! Friendly service a plus!

My husband and I have eaten there twice, and each time we are surprised by how good it is. Everything is fresh, everything is made by cute guys in the kitchen, the counter girls are going above and beyond counter service, and guests can grab a local beer from the reach-in cooler while they wait to order. The last time... More

On a nice August weekend in the mountains ate breakfast on the porch of a former 1920's farmhouse. Order and pay inside, self serve coffee. I like this setup better than waiting for an over worked waitress. Breakfast selections are very creative. My wife ordered the Veggie Delight w/egg consisting of egg, spinich, tomato, red onion and pestto cream cheese... More
