Old house which has been converted into a "no frills" restaurant - small so plan to wait for a table if it's on a Sat/Sunday morning for brunch. You order at the cashier and pay -then go sit and wait for your food. Very good food and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend and go again too!

The soup was delish and came out piping hot! We always enjoy the atmosphere and service. They use fresh ingredients and it shows!

I've eaten here several times over the past year! Dining out on the porch is the best and the pimento cheese with tomato is amazing!

A special place. Good food and really nice atmosphere. Homey and good Southern hospitality. Go! The breakfasts and lunches are really good . Get there before 2.

This restaurant is so quaint, located in a historic home in black mountain. The breakfast is fantastic but seats fill up fast so go early. We like the French toast, the grits are fantastic, and the power roll up is a nice "healthy" option.

Great coffee (organic, locally roasted), great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff! My only complaint is that their high chairs are old and don't have straps.

Love the lunch I had the other day. Very eclectic menu and all the food is great. The owner is on site and available for compliments. The staff are happy to serve you.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I had lunch at the oldest house in Black Mountain today-----Louise's kitchen. My cheesesteak was very tasty, and everyone else enjoyed the meals they got. Breakfast is served all day, and the breakfast Quesadilla looked especially appetizing. They have a good local following, so you know it has to be good!

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Average breakfast, but really appreciated that they allow substitutions.

This is an old house renovated to a place to eat. You first place your order and find a table. Everyone is friendly, the breakfast was excellent. This place was highly recommended by the locals and you can see why. It is unique and different in a great way. We really loved eating there not only for the food, but... More
