The staff was very pleasant and fast service but I felt the food was pretty average. If you are someone who has not been spoiled by Mexican food made at home or in south west TX, you will probably enjoy this location.

We had a nice dinner here. The fajitas had zucchini in the vegetables and shredded beef (on request). Loved the guacamole. Very pet friendly. Nice table, stream side, on the patio. We would go back. Very reasonable cost.

The food is fresh, creative menu! My favorite is Enchiladas Chilangas, chicken enchiladas with a delicious cilantro cream sauce. The guacamole is made fresh, can be made table side and is delicious! Service is always good. Dining outside by Flat Creek is always nice in warm weather. Love dining in the bar area where Michelle can whip up a fantasic... More

Stopped for lunch, been here before. Love the self serve salsa bar's 9 choices. Try the chorizoqueso and the guac. We had side of rice, beef tamale, talipia taco, hard shell shredded beef taco (best ever) and chicken enchilada. Great service, great food, very fair value - quality for price. Wish they had a weekend lunch menu special like weekdays,... More

Ole's is the local's favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great; the margaritas cold and frosty; the beer menu varied. One special touch is the separate salsa bar. Service is always prompt and efficient.

My husband, golden retriever and I had an early dinner on the patio of Ole's Guacamoles (Aug 2014). The food was good and offer nice vegan options. Both vegan and non vegan dinners were tasty, nice portion size. Service was too fast and matter of fact, the server came to get my plate before I was even done. Seemed odd... More

The outdoor seating is very nice. There is a small stream that you can eat next to, but it is next to a Super 8 hotel. Also, the beer special was pretty good: $1.99 for Dos Equis. The food, however, is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chips and queso.... More

This was the only restaurant open when we arrived. While it was on our 'list' to visit, I'd say there are so many other great places in Black Mountain, I'd save this to the last.

Good Mexican, but great outdoor atmosphere. We sat by a lovely mountain stream sipping our margaritas while we munched on chips and salsa. Extensive Mexican menu.
