The outdoor seating is very nice. There is a small stream that you can eat next to, but it is next to a Super 8 hotel. Also, the beer special was pretty good: $1.99 for Dos Equis. The food, however, is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chips and queso.... More

This was the only restaurant open when we arrived. While it was on our 'list' to visit, I'd say there are so many other great places in Black Mountain, I'd save this to the last.

Good Mexican, but great outdoor atmosphere. We sat by a lovely mountain stream sipping our margaritas while we munched on chips and salsa. Extensive Mexican menu.

My husband and I spend lots of time in Black Mountain and have eaten here many times. We think Ole's is a good value, we love to take our dog and sit outside and watch the stream. The Service we have enjoyed has usually been fast, friendly and efficient. Because we have eaten here lots - I can give them... More

This was your typical Mexican restaurant. The food was great. They give you a creamy bean dip instead of salsa with your chips,so that was different. The location was great. The prices were reasonable. The patio area was nice. Next to a stream. My waitress would have preferred to flirt with the bartender than wait on us but otherwise it was... More

Best Mexican food we've had in quite awhile. Place was busy but the service was fine. Only complaint is that the place wasn't as clean as we like, table and seats were sticky. Also the menu's had food (probably salsa drippings) on them.

By a mountain stream just on the outer edge of downtown Black Mountain, this is a place you could easily miss. You can sit inside the colorfully decorated interior or outside next to the stream. Food not as unique as it used to be but still very good.

We were visiting Black Mountain for only two nights and arrived pretty hungry. Whilst Grandpa and youngest granddaughter relaxed in our room, eldest granddaughter and I traipsed across the mountain stream bridge to Ole's. They were VERY busy, but very kind and friendly. ALL of our food was delicious, well prepared, and their salsa bar had so many choices!

We were here for a family celebration of life for my uncle and this was one of his favorite places to eat, we know why! Food was good, hot, and plentiful. And the price can't be beat! Bud light $1.99 special 16oz, the chips and bean dip with the salsa bar all complimentary with your dinner. I had the fish... More
