I had passed Que Sera many times, but had never stopped in. My wife and I took a flyer based upon the Tripadvisor reviews when friends of ours came to visit. We were not disappointed with the outcome. While the outside would not indicate fine dining, the inside certainly provides an environment of achievement. All four of us were more... More

My husband and I were staying in Black Mountain for our honeymoon when some friends who live in SC bought us a gift certificate as our wedding gift. They told us just to go to the restaurant and give our names and we would be taken care of. They were right. The restaurant is nothing to look at from the... More

We went here on the advice of Nancy at the Inn Around the Corner. What a great choice. The food is unique and delicious. My favorite was an appetizer that was a take on a simple Caprese salad. They mixed it up by adding corn, limas, bacon and fried okra. I know that it sounds odd, but it was delicious!... More

I've been her lots of times. My mom has a house nearby and I come here every time I come up. I'm single so come alone. I called and they said they were full with reservations. They said I could came to the bar. Called when I got ready to go. They said nope, sorry. And the server was rude.... More

Recommended by our innkeepers at The Inn Around The Corner. Food was delicious and the service was gracious.

This little restaurant would challenge the best in a big city. The cuisine is exquisite with specials each evening. The printed menu is always complemented by several specially prepared starters, entrées and desserts. The chef prides himself on creating dishes using fresh, local vegetables and daily imported Atlantic seafood.

Fabulous food in a strip mall setting. I had forgotten to call for reservations until the afternoon we wanted to have dinner there (wish they used OpenTable), but they said they could seat us if we could come early and eat fast ;) Delicious peppercorn butter with bread to start. Had a special of pate with amazing pickles and blue... More

On the evening of July 3rd I arrived in Black Mountain to pick up my son at summer camp, which was ending on the 4th. I had read great reviews on this little place so I decided to give it a try. I had not made reservations (which I recommend), and although they were quite busy the owner seated me... More

In order to review a steak one has to know all of the details, so after allowing the Filet Mignon to heavenly melt in my mouth to completion, I spoke with the Chef. The steak they are using is top shelf, ANGUS BEEF, of chateaubriand quality and butter knife soft texture, to me the best cut of steak possible. My... More

It would be easy to dismiss the restaurant if you base it on the outside appearance, but inside, the place is nice - not ostentatious, but certainly nicer than 'pleasant'. Ate at Que Sera Saturday, June 28. We had the 2/2/2 oysters, followed by the grouper, then the key lime pie. My wife and I were blown away by the... More
