On the evening of July 3rd I arrived in Black Mountain to pick up my son at summer camp, which was ending on the 4th. I had read great reviews on this little place so I decided to give it a try. I had not made reservations (which I recommend), and although they were quite busy the owner seated me... More

In order to review a steak one has to know all of the details, so after allowing the Filet Mignon to heavenly melt in my mouth to completion, I spoke with the Chef. The steak they are using is top shelf, ANGUS BEEF, of chateaubriand quality and butter knife soft texture, to me the best cut of steak possible. My... More

It would be easy to dismiss the restaurant if you base it on the outside appearance, but inside, the place is nice - not ostentatious, but certainly nicer than 'pleasant'. Ate at Que Sera Saturday, June 28. We had the 2/2/2 oysters, followed by the grouper, then the key lime pie. My wife and I were blown away by the... More

Very quaint little restaurant! The food was very good and the service was excellent! The stacked tomato salad was our favorite.

Wonderful food and service. Creative, local ingredients, perfectly prepared and served with southern hospitality.

Food was top-notch and service great. Priced right for what we got. Ambience could be a bit better, but all else was outstanding.

Was really excited to try this restaurant. Ordered the filet, it was extremely under cooked for medium. Asked for it to be cooked longer and it came back looking the same. Had one bit of my $32 entree and was offered a free desert. Paying $32 for asparagus and a baked potato is ridiculous. Server was very nice, my fiancé... More

I cannot more highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I so enjoyed ourselves and the dishes were excellent. Do NOT let the outside appearance fool you -- go on in. The only complaint I could even have was that their steak knives need sharpening and they need to re-think their dinner plates. Too slippy on the bottom and with... More

While visiting family in Black Mountain we had the opportunity to visit a quaint little restaurant with huge flavor. Little in the amount of seating, but this also lends to wonderful service, and the food huge in flavor. The table had a round of oysters 3 ways, I could gave eaten these all night. Entrées Blackened redfish - excellent Fried... More

This has become a must go to place whenever we are in town. Such wonderful food and such enthusiastic, friendly service. The specials are always outstanding, as are the regular menu items. Hope this place stays around for a long time!
