Fantastic Brunch!

Have only been to Que Sera once, and it was for brunch, but based on that experience, I look forward to trying dinner very soon. The service was professional, friendly, and attentive. This was one of the most memorable family dinners we've enjoyed. The service was perfect, everything from the creative cocktails to generous desserts was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and conducive to conversation. They happily created a custom vegetarian meal that was delicious and plentiful. Other main courses were perfectly done - all four adults were impressed and we... More

My husband and I have eaten at Que Sera when they were in their former Black Mountain location and count this gem as one of the top three restaurants in town. We had the opportunity to have dinner with friends at their spacious new digs, in a beautiful brick building in downtown Black Mountain. Now it feels like the atmosphere... More

loud and noisy, overpriced for black mtn., but the hair in my girlfriends meal was the ultimate turnoff, after showing the plate to the waiter we assumed the chef owner would at least come out to apologize, not to be !! would not return and definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

We are very sorry for the negative experience that you had while dining in our restaurant. There is simply no excuse. Our chef/owner was not in the building at the time it was brought to our attention. We hope that you would return to give us a second chance for a better experience. More

The very nice folks at Que Sera sat us promptly at our reservation of 6:30, but as it was New Years Eve, they were quite busy. The food was great, especially the trout. Due to wait (large tables being sat all around the same time) our waiter comped us a dessert...a toffee mousse that was heavenly.

Que Sera is a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant, underscored by the new location in a historic Black Mountain building. (Pssst....Carl:change the address and photo on this listing) Dropped in the other evening after the kitchen had closed but we managed to sit at the bar and score a dozen Rappahannock oysters. Washed 'em down with local beer. Yum. Great... More

Loved meeting the owner, Paul Tayloe who has worked at the New Prkeans and Houston Brennan's. We explained that all four if us moved from Houston to Asheville and had yet to find authentic Cajun food. Well, we did on Saturday night! Every dish was a masterpiece, delicious and delivered to our table in a reasonable time without too much... More

Que Sera moved to a fantastic turn of the century building and wow what a great place to visit. The new oyster bar is full of great drinks and great oysters. Dinners are always fantastic as the menu is extensive and expertly prepared. Love it.

Yes, Que Sera has moved from its former less-than-wonderful location to downtown Black Mountain, right behind the train depot - a really nice setting, inside and out. Someone forgot to take all the 'Bama regalia, but that's okay. The food appears to be the same interesting, creative offering. Sunday brunch here is a remarkable change from the usual touristy dress-down... More

My friend and I decided to try Que Sera in its new location, a building which had been an old ice house back in the (way) old days. I had never eaten at the restaurant in the previous location but had always heard good things about the food. The interior is pleasantly rustic. The old wood floor was retained and... More
