Wonderful seafood

Que Sera is many miles from the ocean but has absolutely wonderful, fresh seafood. We had our 3rd dinner at Que Sera last week and each time we leave saying "how did they top the last dinner we had?" but they do. The food is consistently great and prepared perfectly. Probably the best filet I have eaten in years. Desserts--to die for! The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but what would you... More

I have only been here for brunch but it is one of the best. Service begins with plate of small muffins and biscuits, not so much that you fill up but enough to get you ready for breakfast, My most recent visit I had the Que Sera Breakfast, which at $10 is a great value; two eggs, bacon or sausage... This restaurant was so good that we went back for brunch the next day. Each of us had a different meal and they were all fabulous. The owner even sat down with us and chatted for a bit. It was an all around great meal.

Wanted a place about 1/2 hour east of Asheville. A little gem. Not many tables. Very friendly service and great food. Had turtle soup (excellent, made with turtle not veal) as well as a salad with fried oysters also delicious. My wife's steak was perfectly cooked as she wished it: rare to blue! Their grits were actually a type of... More

Wow, this place was definitely a surprise! Pulled up to the place, not expecting much but don't let the cover fool you! This place has EXCELLENT food and EXCELLENT service! We both had the Red Fish which was highly recommended and turned out to be very, very good. Que Sera is definitely a place you don't want to miss if... More

If you are in Black Mountain or anywhere close you must (and I mean must) treat yourself to this little jewel. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world and eat at many wonderful restaurants and this one blew my mind. Who would have thought in the little twin of Black Mountain they would have such a luxury. From... More

Had friends in town for dinner and this restaurant had been recommended. The food, and service were wonderful. We have been back several times and have never been disappointed. Gourmet qualify. Bravo.

We eat at Que Sera often, most recently for Valentine's dinner. We have always felt very welcome and the food is excellent. We are happy to hear that they will be moving to a bigger facility. In the winter, you can usually show up if you don't have reservations. Not so in the other three seasons! Diane and Richard G.

I have no idea why Que Sera is rated #5 in Black Mountain. It is by far the finest restaurant in town. Everything is delicious, regardless of what is ordered. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality in our little town!
