I have gone to Mike's Farm f/the past two or three years. I always go with a large group. If you go individually, they won't accept a reservation -&- you may have a long wait. This place is very popular, has a long-standing following, and is very busy over the Christmas holiday. If you have a group (neighbors, friends, family)... More

it was the day after xmas. 45 minute line to put our names on a list then waited another hour. And the pa they use to announce names was not working correctly. menu is bisquits with country ham (really salty) appetizer, main course is pork roast that tasted like dried wood, fried chicken from tiny birds, mac and cheese, corn,... Me and my wife just came from the hayride. I think it is very disrespectful when you stand in line and you can smell the restrooms. I'm guessing they make on average $25k a night and that is probably low. We were both about to pee and just from standing in line we knew we had to get away from... More

Two friends and myself took a 2 day vacation to the beach to visit old friends and decided to stop at Mike Farm on the way. When we got there and visited the gift shop we were hooked on this place just for the gift shop. We were there on a Tuesday and did not realize we needed reservations to... More

Go to Mike's Farm! It is worth the trip... >>> BUT <<< NEVER ON A SATURDAY DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON! You have been warned. First the good... It is a beautiful country drive out to Back Water Swamp / Beulaville area. The Hayride is exceptionally good. They do a wonderful job with the lights and music - the theme of Christmas... More

I was expecting a crowd (hundreds) but all you did was wait. 5 hour wait for dinner...not worth it for a chicken dinner, no dinner in fact. You wait in line to buy hayride tickets, then go get into another line to ride the hayride. The ride was very worth it, but not the wait. Gift shop was nice. Never... More

My wife and I have been booking our annual Christmas gathering at Mike's Farm for over seven years now. The group has grown from 10 people to 79 this year. We arrived Tuesday, December 9, 2014 and as always enjoyed the bountiful meal (as Southern as you can get) and the delightful hayride afterward. The energy Mike, his family and... More

Mike's Farm is a regular part of our family Christmas celebration. If you are just looking for a quick meal, this is NOT the place. Mike's Farm is a place to spend an afternoon/evening, enjoy family and friends and take in the sights and sounds of the season. We have waited as long as 3 hours for a seating in... More

Food is served country style, there were 13 people in our group. Not enough food was brought out to serve all at one time Service was slow. Food was bland with little flavor, except for the fried chicken and Mac and cheese which was very good. Hay ride and christmas light was very good worth going to see

First trip out proved to be a great night and fun family time! With the wait the restaurant being 35-45 minutes, we opted for the hayride first! What a show. Best light show / hay ride I have been own. Once we arrived back at the restaurant, our table was ready and waiting. A very simple menu, but one done... More
