Just a plain ole fish camp

There is not a lot you can say about a fried fish joint- but the staff at this place goes out of their way to make sure you don't leave hungry. We've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience.

After a weekend trip to Charlotte my husband I decided to check tripadvisor for non-fast food options. Being a Sunday some restaurants were closed so we decided on Catfish Cove. Upon arriving, the parking area was very congested so we knew we were in for a treat. As we approached the building we saw the cash-only sign so we asked... More

The catfish fillet dinner was great. I went with the full dinner and should have gone with the smaller portion. The portion was huge and then add in the hush puppies, and all you can eat salad bar you have a big meal at a small price. The place is great for groups with numerous big tables and attentive staff.... More

This was my first and only trip to Catfish Cove. It was just pretty good. Twin Tops has nothing to worry about.

I have been a waitress at catfish cove for over 20 years! With that said we are a very family oriented restraunt. We DO NOW ACCEPT debit cards! Yes we have some fried food options on the buffet on Sunday but please don't forgot we offer baked chicken, vegtables, and a full salad bar as a more healthier option for... More

Great fried fish but even better Sunday dinner. Nobody can fry chicken and cook country style steak like Catfish Cove!!

My wife and I ate here on a Thursday night. Picture eating in a church basement with great service. This place is really no frills but makes up for it with fish. Piles of fish. My wife had a combination platter and it was great. We ended up taking half of it home to boot. I also had a combination... More

All of the food is so good I dont know where to start. so I'll start with mine Perch ,Fantail Shrimp, Chicken Tenders, Fries and REAL Hushpuppies, Slaw, Sweet Tea, Onion Rings and a very good Cocktail Sauce... There is always a crowd at Sunday lunch and the place was recommended to us, so we gave it a try. We were not impressed at all. I found two items that I really liked, the pickled watermelon rind and the sweet potato casserole. I would rate those an excellent. The other items, I would just rate between poor and... More

This review only applies to the Sunday Buffet. The price is low. The food is plentiful, but we did not like it. Poor seasoning, over cooking, and high fat are just some of the problems. I know others like it but we don't. If you are looking for a cheap and filling meal, then this may be your ticket. If... More
