Best brunch ever

Our go to place for Sunday brunch. Menu offerings sure to please, specials always a hit. Service staff bends over backwards to meet your needs. Have special dietary needs? Ask owners Karen and Brian. Another plus is they open Sunday at 11am.

We went to the City Kitchen for brunch. The view from the restaurant is wonderful looking out over the marina. There are stairs to get to the restaurant although there is a patio downstairs that is open in warm weather. The service was very good and very friendly. We had a Bloody Mary that was very good. They make their... More

This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path of Beaufort, but well worth a visit. The view of the marina is fabulous, and the restaurant itself is cozy. I had one of the daily specials, which was black sea bass encrusted in some type of crumbs and grated parmesan cheese, served with flash fried spinach over jasmine rice. It... More

OK, I'll admit it, after spending a month in France in the fall, I have become a bit hard to please in the food/restaurant category. This was THE BEST meal I've had since being in France! Every place we ate since France my husband and I would say "It's good, but not France good." This meal was France good! Fresh... More

One of the best in the area!! Great food, service is good. The views of the water are awesome.the Tiki bar bartenders are not the best. Hope they have new staff for the tiki bar. it is a cool place to hang out.

Had brunch this Saturday: very good fish tacos and eggs benedict. Fantastic sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Service was delightful and the best view in this area.

Although I had planned to eat at City Kitchen when it was located in Morehead City, I never got around to it, so I was particularly happy to have a "second chance". Beautifully appointed with a delightful menu, City Kitchen will be a real winner for owners, Karen & Brian. We shared a "small plate" of roasted beet salad and... More

Decided to try out the new City kitchen in Beaufort today and boy am I glad I did. We entered the dining room and was greeted warmly by the new owners Brian and Karen and Susan our waitress (how often does that happen these days) ?The view of the waterfront and the marina was spectacular and the room has been... My wife and I reside in Emerald Isle and after visiting Beaufort for some shopping and a wonderful sunset on Thursday, 12/3/2014 we decided to go to City Kitchen for happy hour and an appetizer. We have wanted to visit the restaurant for a while now and had heard great things so yesterday was our first visit. If you want... More

Last night, a group of eight of us enjoyed a fabulous meal at City Kitchen. I shared, tasted or consumed the following: salad with roasted root vegetables and sliced duck breast, a local cheese (Juusto) flash fried on top of arugula with a tomato-based sauce, baked oysters with creamed collards and bacon jam, and shrimp and grits. All of this... More
