Finally a truly good restaurant near Emerald Isle (30 min away). Fried oysters (appetizer) were the best I've ever eaten- very small, fresh, crispy yet not overcooked- slight curry flavor to seasoning. This is a small restaurant in a restored house about a block off the water on Quenn Street. Excellent food and service. We both had fish specials that were simply outstanding. Best meal of our week at the beach. Very highly recommend. more

We liked it so much we went back our second of two nights in Beaufort. It's as good as the Fearrington House in the Raleigh, N.C., area or... more
