We stopped in to have a late lunch after visiting Beaufort while we were on vacation. There were very few people in the restaurant at this time so we were alone in the dining area inside. After the hostess took our drink orders we waited and 2 other servers came to our table and took our orders. That was the... More

My family and I had dinner here while enjoying our vacation. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The crab dip appetizer was awesome, the garden salad was so fresh with a great raspberry vinaigrette, and the grilled fresh Mahi was spectacular. Wait time is a little slow, but not bad. It gave us time to talk about our day.

My husband and I found this place last summer and love it. The view is spectacular and the food has always been great. Two of our favorites are their crab dip and blackened Mahi Mahi. The service can be a little slow but well worth the wait!

We had a group lunch here during mid week prior to July and had a short wait to sit outside overlooking the harbor. We had prompt and friendly service, we each had a different sandwich and we all were pleased with our choice. The fish seemed very fresh and tasty. All the food looked appetizing. I and my wife tried... More

I was wandering down front street looking for a place to eat lunch and luckily I choose the Spouter Inn! It is right on the water and you can dine indoors or out. My whole lunch was really tasty and I will definitely return again next time I visit!

I had made a reservation for 7:30pm, but we got hungry before then and called to see if we could be seated at that time. No problem! Had a table inside, but by the windows, so still a great view of the water. Our server (Jonathan) was prompt, attentive, knowledgable and always smiling. We both had the mixed grill -... More

The pros: - Views of the water are great - Food is fresh - Clean and well decorated interior - Well stocked bar - Soups are delicious The cons: - Basically a soup, salad and sandwich shop. If you're looking for seafood platers, look elsewhere. - At 12:15PM on a Monday, it took 50 minutes for two sandwiches, a shrimp... More

Shrimp and grits are fabulous but so was the Mahi Mahi au gratin! Nice views and service has been consistently good. This has become a favorite dining experience when we are in Beaufort! Will not disappoint.

We had dinner here on the outdoor deck. The weather was perfect and the views wonderful. We watched the dolphins swimming out to the ocean. Service was very good and the staff attentive. I had a grouper dish which was on the special - it was a bit undercooked but the waitress told the manager and she came and made... More

This restaurant is located at the west end of Front Street with tables out over the water. On a nice day, it's a great place to eat and watch the activities along the waterfront. The food is very good and the ambiance is really nice. It can be a bit noisy inside sometimes, so try and get a seat outside.
