This place has 0 view, 0 curb appeal, so your dining experience will be even more amazing. Our waiter could have been from a big city (without the attitude),the food was right off the cover of foodie magazine, and the ambiance was perfect. I was almost expecting hushpuppies and fried shrimp , but felt like I was eating back on... More

The name is deceiving because the grocery is the best deli in town. Perfect place for lunch to get a sandwich and beer or wine. Service is good, food is better and the prices are reasonable.

Per our tradition, we made reservations to eat at Beaufort Grocery. On the walk from the car to the restaurant I heard people leaving one restaurant because they didn't have anything 'fried.' What they are missing... This is an annual tradition for us. This time had a shrimp and scallop dish With fresh baby spinach, basil, sundried tomatoes and country... More

Went today after this spot was recommended by a friend. The restaurant was very busy (almost every table was full) and noise levels were high but conversation was still easy. Our server was extremely helpful and efficient. She answered our questions in detail and made suggestions based on our preferences. Fresh fish sandwich of the day was tuna with Boursin... More

On the recommendation of a friend, we first ate at the Beaufort Grocery several years ago. Now, we are not even tempted by the standard beach seafood and Mexican food places that seem to be everywhere and head straight to the Grocery. Love the fact that the food is fresh and local which means the menu changes regularly. The lunch... More

Just ate dinner here with my wife and 11 month old daughter. Definitely a family friendly place, plenty of high chairs! Had an appetizer which was Greek cheese, baked then covered in brandy and set alight at the table. Need I say more? I followed with steak, my wife had fish, all very good.

Love the atmosphere at Beaufort Grocery. Somewhat of a limited menu but I had a wonderful reuben and the other sandwiches at our table looked great too. Nothing outstanding but good sandwiches in a quaint beach town - can't beat that.

The Grocery store has great salads and sandwiches. The vegetable are so fresh you can tell they are locally grown. It is one of those places where when you read the description of the sandwiches you wonder "why didn't I ever think of this combination?" The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays so plan around that.

We've loved the Beaufort Grocery since they've been in business. Last night, of a party of six, two ordered fish wraps. The fish in the wrap was microscopic and almost undetectable. The wraps were full of veggie fillers, which is not right for a high dollar entree. The other 4 orders were good tasting and good value. It will be... More

This is a good place for lunch but not for dinner. Entrees are overpriced. We were told about specials of the day but prices for specials were listed nowhere. Nice courtyard in the back to enjoy the meals.
