With a wintry weekend and staying at Harmony Hostel, we ventured out to Zuzda which was less than half a mile away. We ordered three specials - the filet steak was amazing & very tender. My husband thought the Gorgonzola butter sauce was overwhelming but I liked it. The shrimp & grits with cheesy grits was pretty good - the... More

we were staying on Sugar Mountain for ski weekend Jan 17-20th. My daughter is a vegetarian and when looking on line for a resturant to eat at we came across Zuzda which had a nice vegetarian selection. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. We had studied the menu before arriving so we knew what we... More

I went with a group of friends for NYE dinner and it was amazing. We all got different tapas and split them family style. I had the oyster gazpacho shooters (I did not like them), stuffed portobello and the bbq applewood shrimp. Everything was tasteful and the service was great and prompt as well. The waitress kept us in the... More

We love this place! The portions are small and we enjoy getting several different things to make our meal. We've also picked things up to eat at home. The people are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant has some cool eclectic things about it. My husband and I like going here for a nice, quiet, intimate dinner ....next to the... More

We had dinner tonight (12/27/15), everything was excellent, including the Montepulciano wine. The Lobster Brisque could not be better in Maine and the trout just had jumped out of the river onto the table.

We went there on Christmas Eve after church and it could not have been a more perfect dinner. The ambiance was lovely. It was just what we'd wanted -- a place where the adults could have a fine dinner and our son could have a cheeseburger. (He said it was the best cheeseburger ever.) My husband and I had stuffed... Ok, this restaurant was a real surprise. Who would think of going to Banner Elk, NC -- the site of the annual Wooly Worm Festival -- for a great tapas restaurant? Well now you should. The menu is extensive covering every course of a meal from entrees, to various meats, seafood, and pasta dishes, to incredible desserts. There's a full... More

We took some friends here and we all enjoyed our meals. We love the pot stickers and tempura vegetables. Our chicken pot pies were much better than last time. The sauce was nice and thick not watery like before. Our friend had the Carolina Trout and said it was quite good. Desserts, apple tart, rum cake and ice cream were... More

We dined at Zuzda tonight, and the food was absolutely amazing! We had a number of dishes on the menu, including: Chicken Francaise, Oysters Rockefeller, Saffron Paella, Blackened Mountain Trout, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Bacon, BBQ Applewood and Bacon Shrimp, Bacon Chive Potato Skins, and Grilled Pork Pot Stickers. With the exception of the latter, I sample some of everything... More
