Were it not for the awesome food, I would have left the restaurant extremely annoyed. The restaurant is small and they try to pack WAAAAAYYYY too many tables in there. Sat crammed in the corner, and after two minutes, was freezing. Why? Because the chair I sat down in was situated on top of an air conditioning vent which could... More

Of the four of us in our group, I was the only one that had a dish that was edible (Oriental Stir Fry). They had two oriental stir fry's on the menu, one with chicken and one without. I thought I was ordering the one without, but got chicken anyways after I guess the server presumed which version I wanted.... More

We have been going to Zuzda for years and the experience is a bit of hit or miss each time. The service is friendly but slow and the food can be brilliant or not. It needs a bit of a face-lift and a different menu. Don't get me wrong...it can be great or not. It is tapas in the sense... More

A friend had highly recommended Zuzda, so I guess that I ordered with a higher expectation than what I actually experienced. It wasn't that it was bad, it was just different. This is a tapas restaurant so some of their dishes are on the tapas size, but others are really large, but this is not indicated on the menu, so... More

Five years ago this was really a great place to eat. The menu prices have more than doubled, the portions are smaller (yes, I know they are supposed to be small) and the service was disinterested. Sad, because I liked this place.

This is our third visit to Zuzda and we'll definitely be back. We love the concept because we can sample so many different plates of very well made dishes. We started with two glasses of a Cueto Rioja, Lobster Bisque for me and Clam Chowder for my wife. I had the Iceburg Wedge and my wife had the Mixed Green... More

The menu at Zuzda is impressive and varied (as you would expect at a tapas place), and the food as served is just as impressive. Our party of six took the outside seating due to upsizing our party from four, but went unnoticed for large stretches of the evening. Other parties came and went, but our serviced just seemed to... So many choices on the menu! Good prices, small plate tapas to share or pick two or three items to have alone. Food was very good tasting. Only disappointment was that we went at opening (4:30pm) without a reservation and was told we would have to sit outside on the patio that overlooks the parking lot or at the bar.... More

I visited Zuzda at the recommendation of the innkeeper while staying in Banner Elk, North Carolina. The food was superb, and I sampled a Chardonnay I had never tasted before. The dining room was not comfortable, however - the room is long and narrow, and the seating arrangement made it impossible to really see out the windows to the beautiful... More

This was our third visit to Zuzdas. Our in-laws love it and had chosen it once again as the place to celebrate a birthday/father's day. Service seemed to be a bit slow this latest visit and we had pushed our reservations back an hour to avoid a 22-top. There were several empty tables but our cold dishes arrived well before... More
