Always great!

The service is always friendly and prompt. The food is always delicious! I had the cavatelli with chicken with broccoli and it was good. The Italian theme with excellent decor. The wait staff were very helpful and great with suggestions. The salad/pizza was the best.

The service was excellent, the ambience upbeat, and the dinner perfect. The mussels marinara were very good and this coming from folks who prefer their mussels in wine sauce! The veal piccata, which we chose to have with linguini instead of mashed potatoes, was perfect. We had a lovely relaxing evening . Thank you!

Sorrento's is a mix of very good and could be better. The food is excellent and consistently so. It's a popular Banner Elk spot, with both indoor and outside seating. The could-be-better piece relates to the atmosphere, which is not up the culinary standards of the restaurant. I have been several times and also enjoy my meal. I would go... More

our waiter had problems with assigning bills to people, long wait for bills. It was a group of around 18. Local resident recommended it and arranged for our group to be in a special area

I got the Scaparelli with chicken, sausage and mushrooms on penne. Instead of the penne, I just wanted extra veggies. I also ordered a house salad. Very delicious. :) :)

As a local looking for Italian food, this is where I like to go. First we had an appetizer (spinach & artichoke dip). It was a little light on the artichokes, but cheesy & good. Salads were sized right (a little pricey at $7-10). Waiter was good about bringing extra garlic rolls throughout the meal. Also enjoyed some Sorrento's pizza... More

My young daughter and I went for dinner while the rest of the group was skiing. We were fortunate to be seated immediately (guessing bc at 7 pm on Sat lots of people are still on the slopes) and the host made a point to give us a table away from the draft of the opening door. The bread they... More

I had the crab cake and sautéed veggies and they were both very tasty but that is about the extent of the pleasantries. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and the food took for-ever to come out. When it did come out, the waiter brought out a plate with a piece of zucchini stuck on it from... More

Nice decor by local artist. Service was awful and there were only a few patrons. Pizza was very good. Crab cake was tasty but very small portion. Took forever to get our food and server brought items out that he should have seen were missing items. Made excuses instead of just apologizing for the inconvenience. Not sure how it would... More
